I think the nets are favourite to land lebron. and nobody is talking about it.

    1. They are moving to New York.

    2. They have a good owner...as far as anyone can tell.

    3. Good coach, has played in the league, won a lot as a player and as a coach.

    4. They have by far the best roster for any Free agent.

Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Derrick Favors

Plus they will have more cap room than chicago, so two max free agents will go there.

    5. It's a way for lebron to be in NY without the fallout of going to the knicks, if he went to the knicks, it would tarnish him forever because it would clearly not be a basketball decision.

NJ on the other hand is clearly a good basketball decision.

    6. They own the warriors 2012 first round pick

    7. They will have lots of trade exceptions from the Yi and Kris humpries trades to add veterans.

    8. Jay Z

New Jersey won 12 games last year. An 18 year old rookie with raw talent doesn't turn them into a good roster.

i disagree with what they have and if lebron and bosh were to go there they could be as good or better as if they chose the bulls. and would be as good the thunder.

(i think the thunder are going to rule the league for a long time)

I think it was an anomaly, due to injuries but mostly coaching. Basically they had a completely clueless coach. I think they led the league in blown 4th quarter leads last year.

He'll offer Lebron a bank account in Russia, this guy is a little out there, so I wouldn't doubt if he pulls some shady business.

12 wins. 12 wins out of 82 games. Think about that. Fine, there were injuries...just like every other team in the league. The Blazers had half their roster out in the beginning of the season and still made the playoffs.

No, they're just bad. They're 2 deep, Lopez and Harris.

If the Brooklyn move hadn't been delayed, he'd be there. No doubt in my mind. I fully expect LeBron to sign another short deal (or have an opt out) that will let him join them in Brooklyn in a few years.

JVG made the decision to not coach the Nets and I suspect that the FAs will come to the same conclusions.

The only draw the Nyets have right now is money and Jay-Z. And crazy Russian hookers. Those girls will do anything!

i think they could have a pretty decent lineup if they got bosh and james
    1. Harris
    2. Lee
    3. James
    4. Bosh
    5. Lopez
    coming off the bench
Favors, williams, and dooling not deep but they could add more and a new coach and billionare owner

Lot of those players will not be there. Lopez and Harris and compete at there position every night. courtney lee would be a good compliment playing along side lebron. terrence williams is nice

    harris
    lee
    james
    bosh
    lopez
Starting 5 is a championship contender no doubt but the bench is suspect

twill best player coming off the bench
    favors
    humphries
    ross
    boone

They add some extra pieces and I like there chances

after 2 seasons. Maybe. Till then? Have fun in a half-empty arena. In Newark.

    Amusing? yeah. Good? who knows.

12-70...in the East....means they probably aren't that stacked. Just sayin...

    12-70?

So overrated as a perk. Jay Z probably owns stock in Goldman Sachs too. Should LeBron go work for Goldman Sachs?

No one ever talks about the Nets, fresh off a 12 win season, because none of the top free agents are going there.

You forgot to mention a Billionaire New Owner who will do anything to land LeBron.

But that still is a team that will take a few years to become a championship team. LeBron will sign where he believes he will win a ring next season!
