I just got home and thought someone would have made a thread on it. CD was with Richard Justice on 1560 this morning. I had a Dr.'s appointment but it sounded like a really interesting interview. He spoke about Scola. Apparently the Rockets had been targeting him for years and thinking about anyway they could get him over. They had decided that if Aaron Brooks had not been there the Rockets were going to trade the 1st rounder to the Spurs to get his rights. After this I had to leave the car and go inside. If anyone else caught this a recap would be greatly appreciated.
Well, sounds like his heart attack was not a very serious issue if he is already back on the radio? That would be good news.
Was CD's heart attack ever reported in the media? I know theres a "Get well CD" thread on the BBS, but I haven't found any news reports about this.
I think at nights they switch to 1480 (don't quote me on that). Anway in the mornings its a local sport talkshow station.
So we kept our 1st pick and got brooks and we got scola along the way?. we really had a great offseason.
