Sorry but after this game I just have to make that thread and I have to say that. Luther Head is useless...

In this series he's been averaging 1.0 ppg shooting 15% from the field.

Tonight in game 5 his stats looked: 13 minutes, 0-4 fg, 1-1 ft, 1 point

I still remember when we had 3-1 fast break and Luther got blocked by Korver I belive. It was too much. This guy is hurting the team, I know we need somebody who can substitute McGrady but it can't be Luther Head. He can't shot, he can't dribble, he can't make layups.

I was pretty shocked why we didn't see Aaron in Game 5. I'm all for that rotation: (of course starters), Aaron, Jackson, Landry, Hayes

    That's all.

I don't think Adelman wants to play Brooks in that pressure cooker environment Hence I assume he won't play next game as well as it seems to me that it'll be another large game for Mcgrady. If BJAX can play the way he is it won't matter.

Once again, he was horrible. However, he was fouled a couple of times and didn't get calls. At least he made the T.

Brooks should be well above Head, it is astonishing to see how Head's confidence has left him.

I liked that Adelman had head in at the beginning of the 4th, and us up by 20 a perfect time for Luther to get his stuff together and get a little confidence.

Just the opposite happened, at this point, he should NOT see the floor the rest of this series.

Head looked completely out of place tonight. Add 2 turnovers to that box score.

In Luther's defense, the only reason we notice him blowing layups is because he makes really nice cuts to the basket that keep the defenders on their toes. Seriously, it looked like the Jazz were baffled on how to defend Adelman's system (the way its supposed to be). I think he has the potential to be really key to the system, he just needs to calm himself down a little.

Nobody wanted Bobby Jackson benced when he shot horribly: 1 for 10 nights. Luther Head is a good shooter, he just needs to get his stroke back.

I get why Adelman wanted Luther in there for size, but he's looked awful out there this series and tonight was quite possibly one of the worst performances by a NBA player I think I've ever witnessed. At least from someone who's not considered a scrub 12th man type.

Brooks has had a nice series and deserves some minutes.

My understanding is Adleman wants to give Head one last chance to turn things around. And it is relative safe to do it in the home game. I bet you he won't see floor next game.

The more Luther head plays in playoffs, the farther his stock drops from nothing.

Now I know how the Jazz fans felt with David Benoit playing for them in the 90s.

    Zboy is absolutely right!

Some guys step up in the playoffs, some guys stay consistent, other guys drop off altogether.

Either Head needs to ride the pine the rest of this series, or someone needs to show him how to loosen his tie!

Even tho he does suck, I would keep him in that lineup...

Don't fix what isn't broke...we went up huge on the Jazz with that lineup.

i would like to keep him during the season, you cant say hes not a good 3rd cause its proven he can play in the season, playoffs, we really don't have to worry about him playing much. and he didn't play that much in this series anyways.

Luther Head is absolute garbage. He makes great cuts sometimes but his defincincys clearly stand out. The man is a turnover waiting to happen, he's unnatrually streaking, he cant handle the rock. Granted he's a great shooter at times and plays decent defence, but this doesnt mean Adelman should keep going to this guy. I dont kno what he sees him. He's the defintion of a tweener.

Head isn't good enough in the playoffs. The Rockets need penetration!

    Sorry, I couldn't resist...

mike harris should get his minutes. neither of them is going to hit 3's anyway, but at least mike can play D and will crash the boards once in a while. oh and not get blocked by kyle korver or the rim
