I know that ticked me off as well. I was trying to tell people to shut it up.

I was one of the ones chanting "MVP MVP" but after T-Mac missed his first free throw I stoped because it did seem like it was bothering him.

Whats funny is that the Rockets shot a much better percentage from the line on the road in Dallas when all the fans are screaming and banging those thunder sticks and then they seem to lose their concentration when the home fans chant MVP or Dampier sucks.

    you're kidding me?

since when are players supposed to NOT be able to handle pressure from fans, even their own?

chanting MVP is a sign that the fans love tmac

if tmac can't handle chants like that in a game situation, then maybe he shouldn't even be in the playoffsl ol

Oh so that's what they were chanting. I thought it was "Mavericks sucks" or something.

If anything, I think Barry and Sura should stop doing those gang signals and gloating to the press. It's still a long series.

The two chants I heard at the game today were:

"MVP!" when McGrady was at the line a couple of times

    and

"Dampier Sucks!" when Yao was at the line one time, and when Dampier would get a foul and be forced to the bench.

I guess I'm ok with the "MVP!" chant, but I don't know about the "Dampier Sucks!" chant while Yao is shooting. Hell, he may not even know what that means lol

okay I watched the nuggets spurs game today, and after like a succession of fouls, the denver crowd chanted bull****! bull****! bull****! That's we need to do when dallas gets a call for a r****ded flop.

Yeah, too bad that one wouldn't catch on.

Hey, we lost the game, but at least Dampier looked terrible out there.

BAH, the hand signals is just reinforcing team unity, I have no problem with that.

The chanting, c'mon...you want the fans to be loud, you want them to be quiet...

The TC gets loud when the team is playing well or when it's time to get loud...it's just with game 3 and, basically the same game it's tough at the end. I know I was sitting at the end just quiet as can be...

chants during FT won't make any difference ot the players. you don't think the other players on the floor aren't messing with the FT shooters even more??

If this trick does work, how funny it would be that Cuban ask people to chant TMac MVP and DAMPIER SUCKS in Dallas. :)

Of all the things you could point to, it's a couple fumbled passes? When Yao is on the court, he's been insane. He is shooting what? 75-80%? You're a serious Yao hater if you're calling him out on a couple fumbled passes as efficient as he's been otherwise.
