If we play like last 2 games, we are a playoff team even without Tmac. But with T-mac who can redefine himself in the team, we can certainly dream for more..

We certainly played good in the last two games but we wont play great in future without t-mac. Memphis and Toronto are not really great teams. Toronto is a great team but they didnt get their shoots last game and we were lucky because of that. They a lot of open shoots. Against teams like Spurs, Mavs, Boston and Suns etc., we will need T-Mac. Dont ever think that we could make the second round without T-Mac.

Without T-Mac, Rox can use his money for other talent. How can you say without T-Mac, Rox cannot make the second round? As I remember, no NBA team plays the second round with T-Mac on their team! :D

Look, we need Tmac, the bottom line is that the team is better if he buys into the new share the ball system.

The team is stronger with a healthy dedicated Tmac......

Let's hope this is like the time the light bulb went off for Hakeem, where he got hurt and the team won like 15 in a row without him....it made him realize his teamates could play and when he came back he was a much more willing passer.

Let's hope for that part deaux.

Bench Tmac! I've been saying this for a while, but no one is listening. How sad.

We need another good perimeter player it doesn't necesarily have to be TMac. The player doesn't have to be as talented as Tmac just some one who can create his own shot. That's what Tmac brings that we don't have. Another player that can get his own shot at any given time. TMac is one of the best in the league at it, so his shoes are almost impossible to fill. But again we don't have to get equal talent for Tmac just someone who can create his own shot play hard and by into the Adelman offense. I can think of alot of players who can do that. Richard Jefferson, Redd, Josh Howard Kevin Martin, Artest, Caron Butler, Jamal Crawford, Ben Gordon, etc.

All of those players would give us someone that can attack the basket and create their own shot. None of those players are as gifted as TMac and yet only a couple of them might be attainable in a trade involving TMac. We won't get equal value because TMac is considered damage goods. He gets hurt too easy but also because TMac is not considered a winner. Like it or not Tmac ihasn't established himself as a team kind of guy. Look at the offense lately. It is running so much better without Tmac. I am not saying we are a better team without TMac by we run the offense better without him so far. If he could buy into it and execute it along with the rest, he would not be trade able. As it is who doesn't seem to mix in well with the rest.

Thats not it, its just, if he doesn't want to assume the role of the leader of this team, and he gets injured a lot, maybe he should warm the bench for a bit.

I think the sad realization of this season so far is that T-Mac is so reluctant to play "fast" like the coach wants them to play. In reality, it's much easier for Mac to play a half-court game where the ball is in his hand and if he can be a facilitator. If it gets too tough, he can always try to dish off to a teammate or he can force (or settle) for a long jumper.

For whatever reason, he'd just rather play at a lower energy state than is required for Adelman's offense.

Why are we jumping to the conclusion that we don't need Tmac when all we've done is beat two subpar teams? We need Tmac and we won't go anywhere without him. That's the truth.

Yao and McGrady can't run, Yao is obvious but McGrady doesn't push the pace unless there is no one in front of him.

you are all fools if you think that you don't need t-mac because of these 2 games.you are a fool for thinking that you can continue to win without mac.no mac no playoff is the right title.as jonathan feigen puts it " Do you believe Rafer Alston will continue to make 83.3 percent of his 3-pointers?" if you believe so then you are fools

When is he coming back?? I hope this two wins help T-Mac understand 2 things, that it is not ALL about him, and that he can embrace both his teammates and the coach´s system.

If he is smart enough (and that is a great IF) to see this as an opportunity to succeed and not as less protagonist role, he will buy into how the team is playing right know and trust his teammates. (and make more plays for Scola :p)

Has anyone noticed that the team plays better with Bonzi and Scola in the lineup together? Now imagine if they both started all the time and played over 35 minutes a game each?

Now, if Tmac can learn to play with them and not against them, we could be the team that we thought we were gonna be. Take our Wafer and add AB or any other guard...and we're back in the hunt!

It doesnt mean that he will never make the 2nd round. Everything have a start in life. I think that the start of the 2nd round of T-Mac will be this year. I am ready to bet on that.
If he dont make the second round this year, I will leave the forum?
    Do you want to bet?

You are officially a member of the TOH club.

Who ever thought in their wildest dreams that all the YOF would turn out to be TOH's at the end of the day???

I guess this is revenge. Sad...i guess the YOF want t-mac to be gone so all the glory can go to Yao.
