Paul Forrester of SI.com's NBA section wrote this in his latest Inside the NBA article:

<i>"Though he likely won't be selected to the All-Star Game, Milwaukee's Mo Williams is playing like one of the league's best. He's averaging 17.7 points, 6.1 assists and 5.2 rebounds; the only other players producing that much in those three categories are Kobe Bryant and LeBron James."</i>

Last I checked, Tmac's averaging 23.7 points, dishing out 6.3 assists, and still pulling down 5.4 rebounds.

Just Mo Williams, James and Bryant? What happened to Tracy?

Funny how we're STILL getting overlooked despite the recent increase in media coverage.

that's fine. Tmac knows how to react to this kind of statement.

i guess mo williams is the 3rd best guard in the league then? lol.

what about tmac, arenas, wade, allen, carter? i'm sure they're all producing similar stats or better.

i'm not taking anything away from mo. i think he's playing great right now, but lets be fair to all the players who were insulted with this article.

Saying that TMac doesn't get any love is laughable. He is one of the most hyped players in the NBA.

You guys are crazy. Everybody expects T-Mac to play like a superstar. This article just points out Mo William's hot streak, interesting because he is not a superstar.

I've never heard him mentioned in the media in the last 20 months in a positive light

What hype are you talking about?

The only "hype" I've heard for Tmac comes from opposing players and coaches

So if the people he competes agaisnt appreciate his greatness and the people he plays with (Rox players and JVG) have nothing bad to say, the media becomes irrelevant because they're in the business of selling, they are not in the business of winning games.

Tmac doesn't sell like he used to. That's UNDERHYPED. Overhyped is somebody the media portrays better than he actually is. With Tmac it's quite the opposite.

NBA insiders think of him more highly than the media

Stop being such a hayseed, every Rockets highlight package on ESPN for the last month has been a montage of three players: T-mac, McGrady, and Tracy.

    As well he should.

I am talking about how the media has placed him in a position near the bottom of the hierarchy of NBA stars when he should be near the top

When you show a 50 second Rockets highlight in which the Rockets are the victor and he's the high scorer on either side and there's room for 3 plays in that montage, what else would they show?

Stop being such a lumpkin ;)
