I just called Minnesota Comcast to order NBA League Pass, but I was told that Comcast will not carry League Pass this year. Anyone can help me to confirm in other location? Thanks a lot!

Try DirecTV. It's got everything. NBA League Pass, NFL, MLB, etc.

It came out a few weeks ago that the NBA is trying to leverage NBA League Pass to increase the distribution of NBA TV on cable providers. Maybe things are on hold until an agreement is announced. I would expect all will be finalized before the regular season starts.

Just do what i do, and order the FTA, you end up paying about 400 bucks upfront both for labor and equipment costs but at the end of the day, you will be getting over 800 channels.

And did i mention this also includes all the sports channels- NFL network, NBA network, NHL network, Major leagues etc. Also all the ppv and movie channels- all for free

no monthly charge. im super pumped because i will be watching all nba games this season. so some of yall might wanna look into that as a cheaper and better alternative to cable or dish

They usually can't add the League Pass until the preseason is almost over.
The person you talked to probably didn't know what they were talking about, and just told you what was most expedient to get rid of you. Call them back on the 13th and I bet they add it no problem. If you have their sports package good chance you'll get the preseason for free until then.

Yeah, I'm curious about this FTA stuff as well. It sounds promising.

okay...if you didn't already know this when you bought the system, then I'm gonna break it to you now...this is illegal. If you get caught, then you will pay a huge fine.

and this is not "FTA"...real FTA is free (legal) channels broadcast over the air (i.e. NASA channel). What you have going on is descrambling/stealing the satellite feed, which has to be descrambled with a different code every month.

Just FYI...don't wanna see any board members in jail or anything.

lol oops, all i know is that i was trying to get a cheap satelite deal on craiglist, and FTA came up which stands for free to air. you simply buy a dish which searches far and wide for channels and depending on the range of the dish you have, the more channels you will get. if its illegal, please ignore, i dont want a rocket fan in jail on my behalf.

cons- sometimes it takes a while for the upgrade to be put online so u can go for hours or even a day without any channels showing

pros- u get all the sports networks, playboy and other p*rn channels, hbo and all movie channels, plus ppv.

u can find a good deal on craigslist - houston
