This is up on the front page of ClutchFans. Major props to Raheel and Nuño for getting all this up so quick... includes comments after the game from Battier, Yao, Adelman and Artest (who "might" get in trouble with his comments to Nuño/Raheel)

Wow, Denver is just handing HCA to Portland. What the heck happened to us tonight?

So when do we come back home for Game 3 and 4? Maybe next Thursday and Saturday nights?

My computer is slow as hell, and I'm hurting from getting my wisdom teeth pulled so can someone quickly recap what Artest said?

"Artest (who "might" get in trouble with his comments to Nuno/Raheel)"

Can someone recap this for me? I can't listen to Rockets talk right now ... after a loss, too painful.

Tonight is not the night to complain about officiating. Ron just loses his mind and takes the worst shots I have ever seen.

Yao said we have a plan on how to play against the Front Defense but we didn't do well tonight. Yao said we had ball movement problems and he didn't hold his post position well.

You can say that in most games teams front against us so what is exactly the plan?

Yao and Adelman stated that they do have a plan when he is fronted but the execution was poor. I think the Rockets should work on that during their practices because all year long fronting Yao has worked well for teams playing the Rockets.

He basically said the refs did a poor job on tonight's game and the Mavs got away with fouls on Yao while the Rockets got called on the other side.

he just basically said the refs made some bad calls

they kept calling the 2nd fouls and not looking at the 1st fouls

also said yao was getting fouled and he was waiting for a foul call but never came

then he finished up by saying the refs had an off night

Just say it Yao. I know you want to.

"Ron- give me the damn ball. Aaron- sit down on the bench and tell Kyle to get on the floor."

Maybe we have something planned that we want to surprise fronting defenses with in the playoffs? Adelman is a smart coach

Aight nevermind my 1st post I went on ahead and listened to it. Ron basically complaining about the refs. He said he didn't know what the refs were thinking today. He said they wasn't calling the 1st fouls but were calling the 2nd fouls. Also said Yao was getting slapped and he was waiting for the calls but they didn't give them a call. At the end he said the refs make mistakes and they did a great job tonight.

Basically tried to backtrack his earlier statements.

At least Battier owned it. Yao was rolling and they started looking elsewhere. Even before they started fronting Yao they stopped going to him. Dumbest thing they could have done.

Ron trying to pass the buck.

This isn't the only year that we have had problems beating the front. The difference is now since T-mac is gone we don't have another guy that can create for himself and others when they do it.

We need Ron to be that guy but he doesn't play to his strength and that is playing on the block.

Nonsense. The Rockets got their fair share of calls; they just got outplayed. Artest is better than that.

I can understand Artest's frustration with the foul calls, as I also thought the referees were inconsistent throughout the game. But you can't blame them entirely. We had our chances, but I felt we couldn't match their intensity tonight.
