Well, it would have been cathartic to beat them in the first round, but it's still going to be cathartic to get out of the first round period. And yes, we could have and yes, we will.

I am going to enjoy the first round between the Lakers vs Utah because i know it's going to be fun. The Jazz is not going to be easy but Lakers of course will prevail. You don't normally see a top seed going against a team that is also pretty tough. And also the reason i want to watch this matchup is because i hate the Jazz and the Lakers being a former Kings' fan.
It's still 5th seed. The only thing that's changed is that Jazz can't get 7th or 6th seed and thus match up with us at 2nd or 3rd. Three games that matter tomorrow: Hou @ Dal, Den @ Por, NO @ SA If Hou, Den, SA win: 3rd seed, playing Hornets If Hou, Den, NO win: 3rd seed, playing Hornets If Hou, Por, SA win: 2nd seed, playing Mavs If Hou, Por, NO win: 2nd seed, playing Mavs Moving into hypothetical territory here... If Dal, Den, SA win: 4th seed, playing Blazers If Dal, Den, NO win: 3rd seed, playing Hornets If Dal, Por, SA win: 5th seed, playing Spurs If Dal, Por, NO win: 3rd seed, playing Hornets Four of eight possibilities have us playing Hornets as the 3rd seed.
Any Rocket's fan is glad the Jazz lost. Even though I can't stand the Lakers, when they had Magic, they played the game right whereas the Jazz have been low-down dirty SOBs since Rich Kelley played. I didn't WANT to face the Jazz in the first round but neither did I FEAR them... and don't tell people where they can or cannot post... only Clutch does that.
The Jazz's season is effectively over: the Rockets won't see them in the first round or the second or at all. I love it. Now I want the Rockets to beat down the Mavs.
