Are we still gonna scream no excuses if we do not live up to expectations?

    What are your expectations?

    50-55 wins

    No excuses

I hope there won't be be any excuses, but someone needs to explain why we only scored 10points in the 1st quarter and 12 points in the 2nd. **JVG I'm looking at you**

It's Steve's fault....oh wait....haters can't blame him anymore. New players same old problems...TO's, getting off to a slow start, bad shooting, no flow on offense...I know it's the preseason and chemistry will build over time but I guess Steve didn't average 18 TO's per game last season like most people here believed :D. I hope Yao isn't seriously injured or else we are screwed. Peace.

this is a brand new team. this is a team of guys that haven't played together before. i do not expect this team to go in and rip up the league this year. if they do...great. but i don't expect it. i really think they're gonna need one more offseason to get all the pieces together.

the no excuses was largely about nothing more than making the playoffs for the last bunch. for not making excuses about accomplishing a goal that every year, more teams than not accomplish.

I give them til the all-star break to mesh. If by then they haven't found some cohesion and rhythm then I'll hit the panic button. Some of the best teams in the past few seasons have started off with slow starts to the beginning of the season and finished off strong. The Spurs, and Kings all started off slowly at the beginning of the season below .500 or at .500 within the first 20 games of the season and all managed to finish off strong. I haven't really watched them play much in the preseason though admittedly but I'm not really worried.

Rocket River, you gave Francis five years of free excuses, and appeared to be willing to grant an extension. I am willing to give this group to the All Star game, and if they show progress, maybe the playoffs. I gave Francis about the same grace period. After that, they are all fair game. Ming has to really show up, NOW.

I'd be really happy if they fire JVG and his team and bring in Philip.

    Yao + Tmac + Triangle = Trophy

    Yao, Tmac, JVG = sludgeball.

This is a horse poop excuse, San Antonio played the night before against Dallas, you think they didn't have tired legs. These guys are supposed to be the greatest athletes in the world and they can't play 1 game a day?????????

10 points in the 1st qtr. and 12 points in the 3rd, PATHETIC. I'll give them a bit more time to get it together but please save the excuses. They even managed to make Boki look like a good shooter last night.

If the Rox have some offensive scheme they're using, I've missed it so far. But I'll definetly give them to the All Star break before the GoodBye Jeff chants start up. Why Jeff?? His scheme, his team, his knickerbockers.

"Tired Legs?"-after 6 preseason games? Geez, I wonder what the excuse will be after 82 games and the playoffs.
