I read in Ken Hoffmans column in todays Houston Chron that there will not be any Coke in the new arena only Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. Big mistake in my opinion. How do they expect to sell mixed drinks? No one wants a Jack and Pepsi while watching the game.
I can undertsnd an obsession with Coke (Pepsi is horrible) before I can understand an obsession with crumpets.
I find it fascinating how these things work. People here wouldn't drink Coke if you payed them. But it's the exact opposite over there. Why is it that there will be no Coke? Does Toyota have some connection with Pepsi?
Coca Cola Classic, my favorite drink, is so superior to Pepsi it is not even funny. It is a matter of personal preference due to taste buds, but damn while I can tolerate pepsi it is not nearly as good as Coke Classic. There are such things as cultural differences Sane, and that includes attractiveness in the opposite sex and beverage preferences .
Hey man, is long as they've got tons of cheetos, twinkies, and pizza, our two forwards should be happy. No coke in the arena, but there's about a QP of KB in the locker room.
Arenas and stadiums are now selling something called "pouring rights." You even see these in some school distristics. They sell the exclusive right to certain beverages in the arena. If I'm not mistaken, there is no Pepsi in Compaq Center. They have a deal with Coke.
Actually most bars carry Pepsi(it's less expensive I hear), so you probably are drinking a Jack and Pepsi.
I'm pretty sure I've heard you talk about having waiting experience, so I'm sure you've seen bars with only pepsi in them. I've waited and bartended too though, and I've never worked at a place that had Pepsi (thank God.....'cuz Americans only invented that crap to sell to people too stupid to know any better).
