Stopped reading there. Texans have just as many clutch/comefrombehind wins as they do 4th quarter failboats this year.
Amobi Okoye says they can bounce back. (Sorry, had to throw this in somewhere. Didnt want to create a new thread ) http://kilt.cbslocal.com/2010/11/14/amobi-okoye-3/
Aren;t these the same guys that after the Dallas Games . . basically shrugged and said it was just another game to them and it didn't matter what the fans thought. Rocket River
**** YOU you paycheck stealing sad sack clown that should have been in the CFL 3 seasons ago. Maybe if no effort losers like you pretended to be a professional we wouldn't be Paris Hilton's vagina on defense.
I don't mind Houston fans and media bashing the Texans, but when a national writer does it, it really pisses me off. Not sure why.
We are far from being a playoff team, the Texans has been out of it pretty much the past 3 season before Dec. 2007:WK 9: 4-5 Final: 8-8 2008:WK 10: 3-7 Final: 8-8 2009:WK 11: 5-6 Final: 9-7 2010:WK 10: 4-5 I think our final records the past few years are misleading to what the team really is. Most teams has to have a winning record going into midseason to have a chance at the playoff, and we have been pretty much out of it by then. Dec. football to the Texans are pretty much pointless.
Nailed it. This is what I was saying in the offseason...why i said i thought they'd go 8-8. I was fooled again by them...especially by the opener vs. Indy.
If this had come from ANYBODY else on the team, I might have lent it some credit, but coming from this unmotivated jack wagon, it just angers me. We believed in you last year on Monday Night Football against the Titans, and you let us down. We believed in you against the Cowboys, and again, you let us down. And at that point, you had the audacity to tell the fans, the exact people that you're imploring to keep faith, that it was just another game to you. Another Giants blowout where YOU basically told us you just didn't feel like playing, and now 4 out of 5 gut-wrenching losses later, and you're asking us for forgiveness?? From the bottom of my heart, Amobi Okoye, **** YOU. We have invested far too much time and money into your loser ass, and now it's time for you to hit the bricks. Go dupe another fan base into buying into your "potential", because I think you've officially burned your bridges with this one.
eh. I'm probably alone on this, but I really think Okoye is trying. I think he is motivated and works hard. I just think he is physically and mentally incapable of playing his position and therefore either A) gets his ass kicked or B) becomes totally lost on what to do. the yahoo article has a level of 'I told you so' smarmyness I don't really care for.
You must have forgotten - Okoye himself said after the Dallas blowout that he needs others to motivate him so he can play hard.
