Darn, I rally thought he could have helped us against the Mavs. This makes things really difficult for tnoight.

He has not produced all that much...actually......and he is turnover prone and his defense is slow....

But, people are hoping he has a run like last year against San Antonio....I think that may have been an aberation.

That's a big blow to the rockets, especially against a team like Dallas with so many big guards in Howard, Stackhouse and George.

    Last year wasn't an aberration.

When he plays he's rock solid

He's been a good player for a long time. He was part of the Blazers that were 6 minutes away from knocking out the Shaq Lakers and he was a big part of it

I dunno, 7.4 PPG and 41% FG isn't that shabby, especially considering the absolutely horrible start he's had, and the fact that that horrible start accounts for about 1/3rd of his games.

Dallas does have bigger guards so my suggestion is to play Synder and VSpan. Snyder to take the place of Bonzi and VSpan to take JLIII minutes.

So what's the excuse going to be when Kirk Snyder doesn't play tonight?

It's enexcusable for JVG to play both Head and Alston tonight in the backcourt if the Mavs go "big" with Howard, George, Dirk, Stackhouse, and Terry.

Snyder better be out there along with Battier, McGrady, Howard, and either Alston/Head.

If Snyder plays at all it will probably limited minutes, that guy has rust all over him and might get in the way or mess up alot.

Nothing gets in the way of rock solid defense.

    Preach On Brother!!! :)
I finally got around to watching the Memphis game on DVR and was pleasantly surprised to see Head finishing the game at PG. It's Either Head OR Alston. It should never be both...maybe for very very short stretches.

Cool. I hope Bonzi does play and I wish Synder would play. Has Synder falling that low in practice to not get any PT.

I hope bonzi is able to play. If not, I second that Kirk Snyder should be in the mix. Just think how great it will look if Tmac dominates the 4th quarter instead of the first half like the last mavs meeting and the Roxs come up with a big road W ;) . Supposedly the Roxs will make adjustmensts from the last game when dirk went to the 5 and Devin assaulted from the 3. Go Rockets.

Does anyone know if he (Kirk) is physically ready to play again? When they brought him back from injured reserve he hadn't been cleared to catch balls at full strength (if memory serves me right). Anyone know if that's still the case?
