    Pete Munro vs. Matt Morris 3:00 on FOX (unless Yankees/Red Sox are finished)


    When I climbed into bed last night my wife was talking in her sleep. She said, "Did you give it to him" and I replied give who what. She replied, "Did you give him that thing?". Again I replied, "Give it to who?". She said "Carlos Beltran". At that I cracked up laughing and rolled over to go to sleep. Just goes to show you that this team is so imbedded in our hearts and minds that we even dream about them! (although I am a little worried about what thing she wanted me to give Carlos, but if it gets us a win I'll get on board.)

    oh & i was listening to ESPN radio this morning on the Mike & Mike show. Phil was on there and before he left he kinda hinted he will be sending Munro out tomm.

    Phil may be playing it coy here, he may announce Munro and switch to Clemens.

    I would not be surprised to see either one out there.

    If we bring our bats, it will be a slugfest...odds of winning that ...50/50.

    The pressure will be on the Cards in game 6, if they press, we could steal one with Munro.

    Game 7 is a toss up as well. With Clemens we have a 70% chance to win in game 7 on full rest....

    The Cardinal's pitchers are not that great, we need to get out on them early and often and make them press.

    I sat 5 rows behind Backe's father last night....it was so amazing watching this guy support his kid...and after he came out of the game, his dad broke down and people were hugging him ...truly an unbelievable moment.

    Possible rain out today in NY could change everything. Can't get overconfident, the Cards beat us twice in St.Louis just a few days ago, they could do it again. But they have to win two, we only have to win ONE!

    Steve: Uh, they said I could listen to the Astros from three to five at a reasonable volume.

    Peter: But, no, no, no. I know you’re allowed to, I was just thinking, like a personal favor, y’know?

    Steve: I, I told Bill that if Sandra’s going to listen to her headphones while she’ working, I can listen to the Astros while I’m calling -

    Peter: Ok.

    Steve: So I don’t see why -

    Peter: Ok.

    Steve: The radio, I can’t -

    Peter: Yeah! All right!

    (He sits down.)

    Steve: I enjoy listening to the Astros at a reasonable volume from three to give.
