Until a few months ago I had a Honda and I took it to a place called Burden Honda that specialized in maintenance on Honda vehicles. I now drive a Nissan 350z and am looking for a Nissan/Infinity specialized mechanic. Does anyone know of one? Any information would be appreciated. I do not want to go back to the dealership that I bought my car from.

What dealership? I bought my Z at David McDavid on I-45 South and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them...both with my Z and my previous Nissan.

BTW- EXCELLENT choice on the Z. What color?

    :D

Thanks for the Z love. It's been a whole new experience for me driving this car, in comparison to the Civic I was driving. No knock on the Civic because those are extremely dependable, but... it is nice for once to drive the "not so practicle car". It is graphite silver. I love it.

I purchased my car from David McDavid as well. It was a year used, and they have treated me in a very disorganized way everytime I have dealt with them. Since day 1 it has been like this. The day I purchased my vehicle I thought that the sales person I was dealing with was a bit off. I had once criticism about a speaker that in my opinion was blown. The maintance department told me to come in, and they didn't have the speaker when I got there. They said they would order it, and never called back. I kept calling and calling and no one would help. They even told me to come in and the speaker still was not there. A person who was helping at the desk actually came back from the stock room and said he didn't think it was even ordered. I would never go back there again. I am going to use some of my personal contacts to get my speaker issue taken care of via other means.

Anyway, I do not want to go back to a dealership that dealership, and was hoping that there was a Nissan specialist I could see. I had nothing but a great experience dealing wih my old Honda specialist, Burden Honda. I recommend them to anyone who drivews a Honda.

I also want to know. It's a pain getting Nissan dealers to do any warranty work on the car.

mmm 350Z. I took the delivery for the first 350Z in the New England Area back when they first came out. I pre-ordered 1 year before they came out. When I first driving it around Boston and NYC area, people had no idea what it was...I got plenty of stares and questions.... It was a blast to drive. Great, great car.

PS. I did not have good experience with Nissan dealerships and service.

    What does that even mean?

H-Town, I bought my '05 Touring Pikes Peak 6 speed from David McDavid and their service department has been great so far. I switched to their service dept. after having bad experiences with the dealership across from Reliant where I bought my previous Nissan.

If you have the time, join my350z.com and post your question in the Texas Z forum. Plenty of Houston members there and I'm sure someone could help lead you in the right direction.
