Well, I guess technically my thoughts followed by your thoughts...but you get the idea. I read online recently that the PTC is pushing to get this show cancelled. They feel it is too explicit, and could corrupt our children. To me, this is silly because it airs on cable television late at night and has a big disclaimer at the beginning. If you are a parent and don't want your children watching something of that nature, then change the damn channel! I've only recently discovered this show and now I am hooked. The surgery is quite graphic, there is a great deal of sex and crude language, but the subject matter matches all of that and more often than not it is done in a thought provoking way that makes for interesting discussion. What does everyone else think of this show? Would you be disappointed if it were cancelled?
I love the show, but I do think it is a little graphic. In the first episode when the doc was having sex with the model and then started snorting coke off her back was awesome. But at the same time I couldn't believe they were showing this on tv. Great show.
Come on... Its on CABLE!!! We pay to see programs like this. If you don't like it then don't watch it. Network TVs best ratings are from CSI shows, which is way more graphic in its display of violent content.
Christian Troy is da man! Great show with very interesting relationship storylines. The only person who really bothers me is McNamara's son, who looks like Michael Jackson.
That is ridiculous and I agree, if you don't agree with this show, or any show for that matter, don't watch it... This is my favorite show, very well written and the characters rock...Christian is my boy!!! Anyway, the demented and graphic way things are portrayed is one of the things that make this show great... Another great show, Rescue Me, and just as demented and graphic...both on FX...

I have never seen it. I will give the benefit of the doubt and rent season 1 from netflix. I'll report back later.

Quit crying & change the damn channel ! The Shield is a lot more graphic (Which I love as well!), & Rescue Me has some dirty sex scenes. F/X has balls & I applaud them for not giving a sh*t what people say. I would be very upset if Nip/Tuck was canceled...especially after the cliffhanger in season 2.
PTC can keep their friggin paws off my cable. Hell I barely watch anything on network TV anymore. Nip/Tuck.....cool show. If you ever want to get cut on, watch this first...you will probably reconsider.
