Toys R Us is having another Nintendo Wii preorder tomorrow (11-12-06) if anyone is interested. I'm definately going to camp overnight for this if the line isn't too long. They have Wii kiosks at Gamestop if anyone is interested in trying it out. I played? ExciteTruck for a few minutes and for some reason the controls didn't work properly so I was left with a poor impressioni. None the less, I'll still be camping out like a geek for one because it's going to be a X-mas gift.
I dunno, I played some truck game demo at gamestop and it worked pretty awesome for me. Definitely camping out for this one.
I called one of the local TRU's in Austin and was told these preorders wouldn't necessarily be for next Sunday. The term I was given was "the end of the month." Anyone else hear differently?
I just called my store and they said the preorder is for launch. He said I was the second person to call and ask about it (I told him I was the same person who called earlier) so this means that not many people know about this. There is a rumor that TRU will get over 100 wii's per store...probally why their doing a second preorder.
Just got my preorder (not like the wii will be in high demand anyways right?). Got there at 6 am...and there was only 2 other guys waiting with me. Up to 9:30 we still had less than 10 people. By the time 10 rolled around there was about 20-25 of us with only 19 preorder tickets. Im just glad I only had to wait 4 hours vs overnight when the system will be launched.
