cgi doesn't look too great in the fight scenes.. but this will be the #1 watched movie in korea and other parts of asia because Rain. remember his videos on colbert report? haha
Yep,that will be,but I'm not the one that really follow all those bs Korean entertainment industry put up.Rain ain't nobody, just a normal people with no talent but dancing skill. BTW,I'm an Asian. If CGI can't generate great scenes throughout the movie,I ain't gonna go watch this.
screw the chinese. go korea!! jealous a korean is doing a martial arts movie instead of jackie chan or jet li. you ain't nobody, just a normal person without talent of typing.,
One of the reasons why Asian actors are blacklisted in Hollywood today, the amount of support from their Asian counterparts...
It's like watching an extended cinematic from Ninja Gaiden. I'd probably be more excited about this if it came out 15 years ago.
So you're telling me there's a movie coming out with car chases, sword fights, guns, ninjas, shurikens, martial arts, and explosions! As a man I feel obligated to watch this movie.
It's just hard for me to get into a ninja movie that takes place in the modern era. I can believe one dude has super skills with a sword and all the other stuff to the point where he can beat 10 other dudes at a time but I can't suspend disbelief to high enough degree to not believe that someone with a gun would just blast him and be done with it. They should have set this back a few hundred years ago.
Don't be a hater the Korean entertainment industry is the most popular in Asia right now. The movie is about ninjas. While I can't understand why they can't cast a Japanese for the lead role, a Korean is the best alternative.
I'm genuinely upset with the name of this film and its redundancy. Ninja Assassin? Really? A Ninja who doubles as an Assassin? What a novel concept - except for the fact that by definition, all ninjas are assassins. It goes with the territory. Assassination is inherent in the concept of being a ninja. It's not necessary to spell this out to me, rather it's an insult to my intelligence, as for years i have known of the deadly ways of the ninja - as does most of society. It's like calling a movie "Carpenter-guy who works with wood" or "Marine Biologist-Sea Life Scientist" - duuuh.
I thought it was about somebody that assassinated ninjas. I haven't paid much attention to the commercials though, so I could be wrong.
This is the main actor (Rain) busting some moves in his other career. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/O5B0XItDpSM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/O5B0XItDpSM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Yeah. That's why it's called Ninja Assassins. He was a ninja and now he's assassinating his former clan or something.
