Because of a fortunate situation I'm in, I'm about to get a couple of pairs of Nike really cheap (one basketball and one normal/walking/running). Does anyone have any opinions on those two lines, which shoes are the best, etc, etc. Given that I'll be getting a deal, cost isn't an issue here. Thanks for the help.
Not sure about the normal/running line, but these are by far the best Nike hoops shoes out right now...I plan on getting a pair soon. http://www.kicksology.net/reviews/nike/shoxvcii.html
Nikes are the best...............just be careful ....................................................Lebron
I've never owned a pair of Shox. Are they/this one in particular really that much better? Any advice on Nike's walking shoes. I'm usually a New Balance man when it comes to those.
I've tried 'em on, and a friend has some & just raves about them. Check out the review I linked, much more detail on the specs.
Jordan VIIs. Greatest shoes ever!! I just bought a pair of the retros and they are everything I remember them to be!!
I only buy Reebok now, Francis in part, but mostly because of their attention to Human Rights and their better prices. Those Shox look damn sweet though.
For Hoops shoes, I'd go with the Shox Limitless. Heck, good enough for Yao! But they're refined incarnations of the Shox BB4 and VC's. Plus they're not selling as well, so they'll be prolly be on sale. As for runners/ trainers. New Balances are the best. But if you want something new, go with Shox NZ's or R4+. hth
agreed. IMO Nike makes a great looking shoe but as far as structure and comfort goes And1 makes a great shoe
dude, if it's not too late, get these, the Nike Air Zoom Ultraflights, which were given a good performance review at kicksology.net:
If you want some seriouse basketball shoes that were made for basketball, and not to look cool. Get some high end team shoes. They are built for basketball. Nike makes them better because thats what they sell to high school and college basketball teams. The are really put together well. Almost to well. I still have a pair from 94 and they are going strong. I dont use them for basketball anymore but they look good. you can tell if they are a team shoe is they say team on teh top of the toung bottom of the shoe laces or on the back strap. Or even ask the guys in the store for some. ALthough I have ran into way too many guys that work in shoe stores but have never heard of them. You can tell they are high end if they have the bubble in the back, if they dont they are low end but should only cast 70 bucks tops. The high end will be 90 but well worth it. Go chech out eastbay.com and type in team shoes, it should bring them up for you.
