    I bet you'd like to mount a 60 inch.

Stand if you don't have a good way of hiding wires and placing media devices. If you do then I'd mount it and put storage underneath it. The best mount being one that swivels via remote control. If it's LCD and I didn't have a swivel I'd go stand, I'm assuming the viewing angle range sucks and you may want to move it in the future.

Mount, hide wires and use a small shelf unit for DVR and whatever else. Not sure why you'd need a swivel for such a large TV that I would assume is in a living area. But if it works for you, go for it.

I have a 3-in-1 TV stand that includes a mount. You can leave the TV on the stand, mount it to the rack, or remove the rack and mount the TV to a wall.

I mount my TV on the rack. I think that looks best.

If you need a cabinet for all your components and stuff, then I would buy one that will fit all your components and be your TV stand. In this scenario, it's not like you are mounting the TV to save space and open up the floor area. You still need your cabinet there underneath to hold your components. I guess you could still mount it in that scenario if you prefer your TV higher up for viewing. I think it's kind of weird to have a cabinet and a wall mounted TV but to each their own. Some people may want to put antiques or whatever on top of the entertainment cabinet and mount their TV.

I remember I mounted one of my flat screens once, it was glorious. If you do go with a mount, look at full motion brackets, I loved mine.

I put my 55 on a rolling stand. Nice to watch sports or movies out on the back deck when I want to take a TV out larger than the 32 I carry out there most times.
