So my senior prom is coming up soon and I have a little dilemma that I have to turn to CF for help. My date and I are still not sure which restaurant we should go to before the prom. She had mentioned this place called the Oceanaire that serves real expensive seafood. I am not a big fan of seafood so I said no to that so now we are on the hunt for nice restaurant in houston preferably within 20 minutes from Minute Maid Park. So a nice place where we would be able to set a reservation and would be around $50-70 for the two of us. Thanks
Lol no I am not cheap but we are in a recession Plus I am not going to spend all that money on seafood that I don't like.
Is it just the two of you? No larger group of friends? How about a steak house like Ruth Chris or Morton's? Without any alcohol, that should be in the upper limit of your price range.
You obviously aren't wanting to close the deal on prom night. If the little lady wants seafood, you get her the damn seafood. If you choke that **** down, maybe she'll choke your **** down later. You Are Welcome
pics or GTFO....... (La Baranda on FM 1960 & 45 if thats not too far....perfect lil spot for just that occasion, beautiful restaurant that only seats about 30 people MAX. Best kept seceret on the north side)
What's wrong with Cici's Pizza? I would think the girl is being down to earth and maybe a bit ironic if she wanted to go to Cici's.
Right next door to Minute Maid, but possibly out of your price range (though not necessarily, if you guys are careful).
Nothing wrong with CiCis. Him saying he knows he's going to close the deal no matter what though means they already close the deal or she's a skank so he's not worried.
Lol so if I take her to the restaurant of her choice while I sit there eating all the damn rolls she is not a skank? OR maybe I could just have real good game and close the deal in any situation lol. But anyways I found a nice place called Ouise's Table. Anyone ever visited that place? Feedback? http://www.opentable.com/rest_profile.aspx?rid=797
If you're looking for Italian, I seem to remember Damian's on Smith sealed the deal for my prom. Apparently they're expecting a lot of your kind: http://www.damians.com/prom2009.html $40 a person; close enough to your range. Haven't been back since, though; can't vouch for its continued success.
