I have no article or anything, just good old-fashioned pictures. The Mighty Ducks are no longer going to have "mighty" in their name - they are just the "Ducks." They don't really even have a typical logo anymore, just the printed word "Ducks." As for the Sabres uniforms, they have been "leaked," which means this is probably their logo (which is horrible, in my opinion). People here in Buffalo absolutely seem to hate this logo so far, so it could easily be changed (if they're still able to change it). This is the new Ducks "logo." I actually like it. This is the new primary Sabres logo. It's revolting. I wonder if they St. Louis Rams could sue for copyright infringement? And here is the new Sabres secondary logo. In my opinion, this would be a better primary logo than the actual primary logo. They should switch them around.
nooooooooo the anaheim logo was the coolest of the nhl, cant understand why they're doing this maybe be mighty isnt politically correct these days ...
I remember reading an article about the ducks being called the ducks. i didn't know buffalo was changing logos. But I think Disney sold the Ducks to somebody, and I guess they want to seperate themselves from Disney.
The reason ownership decided to change the logo and name was to distance the franchise from former owner The Walt Disney Company. I liked the old myself.
