    Broncos 40 Jets 21
    Ravens 14 Browns 9
    Packers 24 Panthers 6
    Colts 24 Steelers 17
    Pats 27 Saints 17
    Jags 34 Texans 17
    Skins 28 Giants 25
    Bills 23 Fins 16
    Vikings 34 Bears 10
    Falcons 28 Bucs 17
    Lions 35 Cowboys 21
    49ers 14 Seahawks 13
    Chiefs 30 Bengals 24 OT
    Raiders 31 Chargers 6
    Rams 21 Cardinals 15
    Titans 28 Eagles 21

    Players of The Week

Fred Taylor - 45 carries, 264 yards 2 TDs

Raiders LB Marcus Penn, 8 tackles 3 sacks.

Injuries - Drew Bledsoe, out for season with broken verebrae, I assume that is the last of his NFL career. Jamal Lewis is out for 6 weeks with a dislocated ankle. Jeff Christy is out 11 weeks, likely the season. Al Wilson is out 9 weeks as is Ronde Barber

    Team Report Cards,

A++++++++ - The Vikings are the cream of the NFL crop with Daunte Culpepper on pace for 4500 yards passing, 50 TDs and 2 INTs, AND 122 carries for 1010 yards and 12 TDs. This could be the best individual season in NFL history. Jabar Gaffney is on pace for 121 recs, 1872 yards and 15 TDs , Randy Moss is on pace for 112 recs, 1865 yards and 24 TDs. Which would shatter any WR duo Records.

A+ - The Colts are 7-0 Thanks to an up and coming defense Ranked 5th in total yards, 8th against the pass and 7th against the run, Kalimba Edwards has already equaled his rookie season total in sacks with 8. Another 2nd year star DB Mike Rumph is the leader of the Young Secondary. Edgerrin James has been carrying the load on Offense as the Colts are turning to a Dungy-Like Defensive Running team, It seems to be working.

A - The 49ers are also doing well (6-1) thanks to David Carr who has a 12-1 TD-INT ratio. Mike Anderson is well on pace for 1400 yards rushing, Santana Moss who is staying healthy and putting up pro bowl numbers, And of Course their #1 ranked Defense in the NFL, lead by Defensive Studs Brian Urlacher (10 sacks) and Champ Bailey (2 picks, they won't throw at him), Also Alex Brown has played very well in his second season, as is becoming the trend for Rookie Defenders.

A - The Packers are excelling (6-1) largely in part to the running of Ahman Green and Dorsey Levens (combined for 900 yards and 10 TDs) and the passing game has been coming along slowly with BJ Johnson the leading WR. The Pack's sucess is credited to a 4th ranked Rushing Defense and a 3rd ranked Rushing Offense.

A - The Bucs have been great (5-2) even though they have been pounded by Injuries. Most of the Wins have been ugly, they should be mediocre but are finding ways to win, Derrick Brooks (6 sacks, 4 Ints) Anchors the Defense and could be the best OLB in the game.

A - The Titans get the last A on the report card thanks to a 5th ranked Offense which is #1 in rushing and Dead last in Passing. Even though Eddie George is still out for 2 more weeks, Chrys Chukwama and Najeh Davenport have filled in nicely. Jevon Kearse is having a solid season, as is Danion Sidney.

    Next Week - B's

No stats request. Just wanted to give props to my man Culpepper, and the rest of the unbeaten squad. To quote Kevin Spacey, I rule.

Running is the key to success. We have the real TITANium Curtain defense in Tennessee (good catch phrase Nomar, send it to Floyd Reese!)

    Kearse, Mason, McNair
