Well it's the start of weeks with byes and wouldn't you know it, my Eagles pull one this first week. Not upset though, this is a much needed bye week for them so they're lucky to have received one early. Minnesota vs. Green Bay on Monday Night Football is probably the biggest story heading into this week.
Hope the Texans can whip Oakland and avoid giving up the long running plays for TD's. Tough one for Dallas in Denver. I hope Dallas will come out focused and intent on putting pressure on Orton. If Romo can avoid the the mistakes and put up 21-25 points I think this one is up to the Defense to win.
LOL. Haha sorry moes, had to post it. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmonsnflpicks/091002
I think my factoid is incorrect. It should say Favre will become the first Quarterback to beat all 32 NFL teams, not the first player. Sorry about that.
Actually my original fact was correct. There was a Bloomberg article that first said Favre would be the first player to defeat the current 32 NFL teams. Then I saw ESPN said he would be the first QB, so I wasn't sure. I read a couple of NFL pieces and one said first QB but the other said first player. So, I am going with him being the first player.
I'm probably going to have my TV on mute for that entire game. Can't stand to hear the Favre nutlicking and faux storylines being pimped.
