Michael Vick returns for action with the Philadelphia Eagles for his first game in nearly three years. Eagles coaches said he would definitely play on Sunday. Let's see how the McVick Experiment plays out...of course that's minus the Mc because Donovan is probably out this week. Other stories I'm looking at this week in each game: 1. Could the Patriots end up 1-2 and last in their division? 2. Can the Jets maintain their momentum and begin 3-0 while making Tennessee 0-3? 3. How long will New Orleans keep scoring 40+ points every week? 4. Who will lose their first game between Minnesota and San Francisco? 5. Can Cincinnati revive their rivalry against the Steelers who have beaten them 5 straight times? 6. Will Houston be 2-1 after their game against the Jaguars? 7. Which quarterback will perform better, Manning or Warner? 8. How many rushing yards will the Cowboys get against the Panthers? 9. Can Detroit get their first win in almost 2 years playing a meager offense like Washington? 10. How bad will the Packers beat the Rams? 11. How good will the Ravens defense look against Cleveland? 12. Can Manningham emerge as the Giants go to guy? 13. Will Cutler show why the Bears traded for him this week? 14. Can Denver keep up their winning ways? 15. Are injuries this year going to be the Chargers downfall?
Jets are due for a loss....TN is due for a win. Go Jets, though. I don't think NOLA will have trouble putting up 40 on Buffalo. Houston SHOULD be 2-1
Give him 30 attempts and I don't see why not. His sorry ass better be throwing to Zach Miller this week.
Breakout games by Steve Slaton and Aaron Rodgers. Cardinals won't lose at home and we're tied for AFC South dominance at 2-1.
Looking forward to a Tennessee 0-3 start. Cowboys embarrassed AGAIN on national TV. Texans tied for first place! Damn, that would be a sweet ass NFL week.
Just thought of a question, and wonder if this information is gathered anywhere: Which NFL team has the most players with criminal records? I wonder how that ranking list would look? heheheh
C'mon, now... don't prompt moes like that against me... he already thinks I know nothing about McDonald's... now he will tell me to stay out of NFL talk, too... Seriously, though. That was the REDSKINS, and then the COWBOYS. Will the Bucs put Ronde on him? Oh, he will get his points and catches... but he won't be the "Go-To" guy as you say. He has racked up the most FANTASY points for owners of all receivers. He will be good, yes, but not the "go-to" guy. Let's see the real answer to that on Sunday, but my prediction is NO. That was your initial question.
Will the Bucs put Ronde on him? 1.) He's not even the Z receiver, and Ronde doesn't "rove" around much in the tampa 2. Also, Ronde is way past his prime. 2.) Tampa Bay's secondary is god awful... see: Rex Grossman, last 2 games where they have given up 5 long TDs.
Well, I guess these guys also disagree with me. They even like the Giants' Steve Smith as a good pickup this week: <object width="576" height="324" allowfullscreen="true"><param name="movie" value="http://d.yimg.com/m/up/ypp/sports/player.swf"><param name="flashVars" value="vid=15720218"><embed width="576" height="324" allowfullscreen="true" src="http://d.yimg.com/m/up/ypp/sports/player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="vid=15720218"></object> There have been instances of defensive arrangements on assignments where it doesn't matter where he lines up, that he's followed by someone, but... I still don't think Mario will rack up as MANY points this week, and we know the . I just have a hunch. Did I have a hunch that it was OUR TIME in Tucking Fennessee? Yeah, I did.
My line is Tennessee +1.5 Saints -5.5 Packers/Rams U41 I would play Tennessee because they will win. Saints and Buffalo is a tough call. Packers and Rams Over 41. Packers will score at least 35 points.
