We might have seen the end of the Donovan McNabb era in Philadelphia. Coming off a horrible first half, McNabb is benched and Kevin Kolb is the Eagles quarterback in the 2nd half.
Jets lead the Titans 13-3 on the goaline... 11-0 is close to being denied. Cowboys will probably rest their starters in 4th quarter.
Favre to Coles 20-3, Jets over Titans the Lions jumped out to 17 to 0 lead in 1st Quarter and are now losing by 12. It looks the pursuit for history continues...
I think it is bad just for the fact that McNabb is a veteran and the Eagles are still in a playoff run. You don't bench a proven veteran in a playoff run for an inexperienced young QB. Pun I'm guessing you're watching the game, is it true McNabb was clapping when Kolb threw a pick?
That is the same reason I think it was a bad decision to bench him. Yes, I am watching the game and he was clapping. Not sure if it was a "YES! He threw an interception!" clap or a "It's OK guys, we can get it back clap."
Did McNabb look confused when they took him out? Maybe he didn't know a QB could be benched in the middle of a game.
Damn Kolb is worse than freaking McNabb! He keeps running 10 yards behind scrimmage and then the majority of his passes are going toward the line of scrimmage. WTF!?!?!?!?!? Put McNabb back in and at least see what he can do, if anything. Kolb is now 2-8 with 1 interception.
When I heard he was clapping I was guessing it was an "It's Ok guys, we can get it back clap" I seriously doubt he would clap because he's happy Kolb screwed up, or atleast I hope not.
