    I saw this in the other section.

    NFL owners are the perfect republicans. They all want their publicly financed stadiums, but how dare the government ask them to pay taxes.

    Here is heart warming story about Bob McNair and how he lent the sports authority to build him a practice field.

    It may have less to do with personal tax nonsense than just being used to getting what you want by cutting a check. I don't wish to victimize these owners but think of all the sports leagues run by high-net worth people that failed overnight; the costs of running a quality franchise are always high, especially if you want to create a pleasant enough experience for people to want to come even if you're not winning.
