They, as well as all of the other sports, frown upon gambling however, I got an email form the Texans yesterday offering a "kangaroo handheld tv" that i can rent for the season so that i can access the NFL Sunday Ticket in my seats so that i can follow my fantasy football team.

I've never equated playing fantasy football to gambling. Its more like playing mahjong.

The Texans are not getting any of your potential winnings are they?

What? I am not getting a gambling vibe from it. I think you are reading much more into it than is there. One thing I do notice is that people that gamble try to relate everything sports-related to it. Gamblers don't need to watch a game anyway, they just need the scores, which the Texans put up on the side scoreboards constantly.

I do think it is weird that they are encouraging their own fans to watch other games in the stadium while the game is going on. I do know there are a few people who only tailgate at the games and don't have tickets, so they can now watch the game from the parking lot I guess. But why would anyone pay for season tickets, and then watch TV while in the stadium? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

I know that the Texans are 1 of 4 stadiums offering this as a pilot program, but they really need to define the market. I have no idea who would buy this.
