I haven't kept up much with the NFL off-season transactions, so I'm hoping to get some help before I have to draft a fantasy team in about a week or so.

    Some specific questions I have:

What are the top 5 (or more, if you can) offensive lines in the league coming into the year?

What offensive lines should be much better than they were last year?

What offensive lines should be worse than last year?

What are the top 5 guys (or more) that are being drafted too high so far in fantasy?

What are the top 5 guys (or more) that are being drafted too low so far?

Jacksonville Jags o-line should be better than last year considering they were decimated by injuries last season.

Draft Fred Taylor and Torry Holt, they will certainly have bounce-back years.

As for QBs, I'd go with Brady Quinn and Tyler Thigpen as guys on the brink of stardom.

Adrian Peterson is so overrated right now, I think by week 8 Favre will completely got nuts and never hand the ball off to him, thats why I think Vikings TE Visanthe Shiancoe should be the #1 overall dick, errr I mean pick. He will expose himsel... err the weaknesses of the defense when they try to put 8 in the box to stop AP. AP Will be a decoy, Shiancoe will see a lot of balls.

Maurice Jones-Drew has been ranked as high as #2 on some lists, which is just crazy -- I put him around 8-10.

He's the consensus #1 pick for most PPR leagues. He's lightning in a bottle. 1600 total yards and 16 TDs should be expected.

Thats at LEAST top 5 production.

I had the #2 pick in 2 leagues so far and I've taken him in both.

Pocket Hercules is comin to GET SOME.

    Ask Shawne Merriman.

^ He's been PH splitting carries with Taylor -- he will get banged up with a full load.

To me it would seem that he's just as likely to get banged up when he's the past time runner returning kicks and being in on passing downs then if he's the main RB.

Either way hopefully he doesn't turn into another Fragile Fred.

Not bad, I don't like your Receivers though and that sucks when you have 3 of them starting. Britt may be a stud down the road, but right now he's in a run-oriented offense. I do like your backs though, and you need to drop your kicker because he's suspended for the first 4 games.

I love the guy - just not at number 2 overall, which clearly belongs to Turner -- I draft late this year [10 of 12] and would happily take him there.

If MJD is available at 10, then at least 5 of the people you are playing with are smoking some serious crack.

I go AP numero uno, and then its like a cluster**** of MJD, Matt Forte, The Burner, DeAngelo Williams, etc.

I'm putting a lot of stock in MJD, so hopefully I see good return.

PPR (point per reception) leagues are becoming common place this year.

it increases the value of WR, RB, and TE's who have receptions.

a WR went number one in one of my leagues this year. i think it's fun to do it this way.

I do like the PPR because it adds a new dimension. Changes the dynamic. I like the fact that it isn't the standard, draft RB/RB and then go from there mode like it has been in the past.

The old format is still solid though, I like to go both ways (No Carl Herrera)

I've heard a lot of love for Forte at #2. I'm surprised at how much love LT is getting for a back that's getting up in age. I guess I just think Sproles should see 35 to 40% of the touches due to his speed and shiftiness.

I really do like Owen Daniels and Shiancoe as TE's that you could probably get later and cheaper than some of the name studs like Clark, TG, and Witten. Lots of good TE depth this year, it seems.

I think Barber is still going a little too high. I like him, but the ability I've seen from Felix Jones makes me think that Barber will be splitting carries.

well, tyler thigpen is definitely not starting for his team, and there's a good chance quinn isn't.

sounds like you may want to do a little research.

Does anyone know of good, free fantasy football guides online? I have a draft in a couple of hours, and I'd like to do a little more research before I have to pick.

Also, my two qb's are Aaron Rodgers and David Garrard. Was really pleased to get Garrard in the 13th rd or so. He was a top 10 QB last year. (I'm in a 12 team league.)

ESPN's is ok. They have some interesting podcasts with Matthew Berry. If nothing else, it's pretty comprehensive and free. Not gonna get much more than that in a few hours.

Yeah, I don't really like my receivers either, I think I picked TJ first and that was not even till the 5th or 6th round. And that suspension a happened the day after my draft, I was so pissed.
