Big game tonight in Green Bay. Packers look solid so far with Aaron Rodgers, but they haven't played a team like dallas, the 'boys are just too powerful on both sides of the ball and I think we'll win this game. Cowboys play well on the road and always show up in prime time.
newman is starting tonight. let's see how well rodgers can throw in to a field of CBs the likes of newman and henry.
green bay will score just fine, but their defense won't be able to do anything to stop the Dallas O. Prediction: Cowboys 35, Packers 21
The Cowboys will win. I think they have too much talent for the Packers. If Aaron Rodgers has a good game and leads his team to victory, that could bode well for the Packers being a legit Super Bowl contender.
I think people are way underestimating the Packers. I think they are the biggest obstacle for the Cowboys in the NFC.
Same here. I think the Cowboys win on a late FG, but I think the Packers are the best team in the NFC outside of Dallas. They've got a terrific overall team.
Aaron Rodgers is really, really good. Not going to be -- he already is. He's incredibly composed, creative and has a gun for an arm. Combine that with the Packers overall talent on offense (especially that line), and you've got something special.
Defenses certainly playing better than expected. Cowboys offensive will end up wearing the Packers down though.
there's the speed of the rookie everyone talked about. 60 yards and that fired up to d enough to come out and make a nice stand... now they're getting in the groove.
I'm still waiting for Steelers fans to tell me how Mendenhall is working out? (JK, I know he'll be alright). All I gotta say is look who threw the blocks for Felix on that run. 81 ran stride for stride w/ Felix, and yet he still gets hated on.
Damn. Although he played at Arkansas, the moment Jones became a Cowboy my liking of him went down the drain.
The Packers are very lucky Romo threw that dumb interception. Otherwise this game might already be over. The Cowboys defense has improved a lot since last week.
Whys is it that every time Tony Romo makes a mistake I laugh? I'm indifferent about the Cowboys and think Romo is actually a good guy on and off the field but every F-up he makes whether it's getting sacked or fumbling the ball or throwing an int it just looks so damned funny to me.
While they weren't great, the Cowboys defense wasn't nearly as bad last week as a lot of people thought. People have a tendency of looking at the final number on the scoreboard and using that to measure how a defense played, and that's a little misleading. The Eagles scored 7 points on a defensive touchdown (Romo's fumble), and were set up inside the Dallas 30 on another possession off a Romo interception. All in all, they gave up 337 yards and 5 yards per play against a good team. Not great, but it wasn't as terrible as a lot of people made it out to be. By the way, that throw by Rodgers -- on the move, under pressure, in stride 40 yards downfield -- as good as it gets. The Dallas defensive line is giving the Packers' OL fits, so they're a little overmatched -- but Rodgers is really, really impressive. He's completely outclassed Romo so far.
Aaron Rodgers sure looks like the real deal so far. Right now, the Packers look like geniuses for dumping Favre.
