The Rockets have been on a great roll these last few games.. but I think the real test comes next week when we face some of the premier teams in the NBA. (actually not only next week, but the 6 games after we play the Nuggets) I have to go back to Austin, but fans if you are lucky enough to go to those games, make some NOISE!! I think it will totally boost the Rockets energy. We should get wins on Friday/Saturday against Hawks/Nuggets.. but after that we face the likes of Boston, Phoenix, Dallas, and LA. What do you guys think?

The biggest test for us is to consistently win against teams without a winning record. Think what record we should have had if we beat the likes of NY and GSW.

So Altanta and Denver are HUGH tests. They better win.

The great thing about Rockets is when we as fans are so high because of their wins and good plays, they will crash down to earth again very soon to subpar teams. *sigh*....

I really hope we can continue this trend and get 4-1 in the next five games (Orlando is counted).

    Related topic:

Is LA really a perimeter team? I'd say they are anything but.

We better beat Boston. Does anyone else hate watching them play? I'm tired of fat-face Walker jacking up 10 threes a game while missing uncountable layups. And then they actually have a player who is fatter and less useful than Walker, Vin Baker. Boggles the mind.

Yeah -- they are on the perimeter of the play-offs!

Atlanta is no pushover in Atlanta. If we win, that is a big W to make up for one we should have gotten earlier...

    What do you mean?
I thought we had a W earlier over Atlanta in Houston.

Boston is my hometown team but Houston is my team right now. To beat Boston, Houston has to go to yao consistently because they have nobody in the middle. Pierce is having a bad season shooting from outside, but he is more aggressive getting to the hole. Yao and EG should try to block several of his shots early in the game to set the tone and let PP beat us from outside. If we can do that plus let the game go through Yao, I like our chance.

I also feel that we can beat Sun mainly because I have a feeling that Yao is going to have a huge game trying to make a statement to silence those who tout Amare is the top rookie. It seems that the rookie wall Yao hit in the last 2 weeks (if you can call it that way) is over.

We might lose to Lakers but I think that Yao might surprise a few folks.

Did you see the first meeting between Sun and Rox? The young Amare dude chickened out when facing Ming. Well, he probably gainned some confidence since then, but still he think needs to be pretty darn close to the hoop to be effective.
