Here comes the hard part of the rest of the season , After the Spurs game tonight , The Rocks get 2 days off before they go on a three game west coast swing , Where we play Sacramento who has beaten us 7 straight times I think , Then we look to "even up" the series aginst the Clip Joint , than we fly up to Seattle where we try to Put the Sonics out of reach . Then we get home for Utah and Phoenix .
My Prediction is we go 4-2

    San Antonio Win 99-92
    Sacramento Win 98-83
    LA Clippers Win 92-72
    Seattle Loss 90-79
    Utah Loss 100-93
    Phoenix Win 102-83

I'd like to say the Rockets will win all of them..but I'll go more conservative...Just to avoid being too optimistic I'll say they go 3-3:

    Spurs - L - 97 - 91 SA big men prove too powerful inside

    Sacramento - L - 98 - 96 In a hard fought battle, Kings take it

Clippers - W - 103 - 92 Having finally broken the Clip curse last time, the Clips cant keep up

Seatle - W - 101 - 97 no reasons or details, rockets just win it

    Utah - L - 99 - 95 - Malone commits close to 35 fouls but gets called for only 3 of them

    Phoenix - W - 108 - 94
Vengence becomes a factor as rocket destroy Phoenix

The Rockets won't win in Utah because the refs won't let them.

They don't have to. It's in Houston.

I won't go so far as to predict scores but I'll do W or L.

    vs. SA - W

    Finally beat the Spurs.

    @ Sacramento - L

We have a tough time with them and they are playing great now that Webber is back.

    @ LA Clippers - W

    It better be!

    @ Seattle - W

We play great on the road and Seattle is slumping.

    vs. Utah - L

As much as I want it, the Jazz are just monsters right now.

    vs. Phoenix - W

Avenge that loss in the desert.

    @ Washington - W

Franchise out to please the home crowd.

    @ New Jersey - W

Even a back to back won't hurt. Rockets have been awesome in back to back's.

    vs. Dallas - L

Rockets have owned them, but this will be a tough loss.

    vs. Seattle - L

Tough loss but a loss none-the-less.

    vs. Atlanta - W

    See the Clipper game.

    @ Utah - L

Utah hurts the Rocks at home.

    vs. Denver - W

A tough home win on a travel day of a back to back. Rockets will be pissed about their loss to Utah.

    @ Portland - L

With a back to back looming and a big game with the T-Wolves, this is a tough loss.

    @ Vancouver - W

Francis last visit to Vancouver since the Grizz will be set to leave after this year. Expect a HUGE game from franchise.

    vs. Minnesota - W

Could be the biggest game of the year not just because of the playoff implications but because of the raucous crowd of ClutchCity.net and SaveOurRockets.com fans!

That puts us 10-6 going out. Will it be enough to eclipse Minnesota or Phoenix? We'll have to see. It will give the Rocks 47 wins, which is amazing considering their 34 win season last year.

I disagree with the Sonic lost and the Spurs r red hot at the moment so I doubt if the Rocks can win that one but the rest sounds reasonable to me except for the scores.

If I was an optimist I'd say we'll win all the games but I'm not. This recent streak has been built on some clutch performance from some unlikely and obviopus sources. To maintain that and break the hoodoo against the best in this top-heavy West...it's too much. Every game is do or die b/c we can't rely on other results to favour us.

    6 - 0. I'm an optimist.

At least two games come down to the final possession, and at least one goes to overtime.

    San Antonio - Win
    Sacramento - Win
    LA Clippers - Win
    Seattle - Win
    Utah - Win
    Phoenix - Win

    That should do it . . .

They lose 'em all except to the Clippers and may my predictive abilities be as accurate as always.

    My Predictions

    San Antonio Loss 92-88
    if w/o Steve Loss 86-65

    at Sacramento Loss 110-97
    at LA Clippers Win 98-84
    at Seattle Loss 96-94
    Utah Win 96-89
    Phoenix Win 105-92

Man, I hope I'm wrong but I feel these predictions are reasonable.

I just find it hard to believe that the Rockets could win 47 games this year, the same as their 1995 team and not even get in.

I'll be at the game against the Spurs

Jeff, you think the Sonics are going to win the series with the Rockets 3-1? You've got to be kidding me. It will more likely be the other way around.

I think we do in April at some point... just not the game we were talking about in this thread (5 games from now).
