Hello Rocket Fans! I have to admit this website's outstanding. My friend, a Rocket fan and a poster on this BBS, told me about this website. good stuff guys! i know I'm new here and all, but I would like to state my opinion on your team's next game. I'm a die-hard Blazer fan and have always been a Pippen fan as well. Now i know how much he's hated in Houston. But think about it, your Francis is not all that popular in Vancouver either. who cares? Anyways, that's not the point, Rockets play the Blazers next. i say we have the force on our side. my reasons: 1- Mo Taylor sucks, for now atleast (admit it everyone), he has no chance against a lineup consisting of Wallace, Kemp, Davis. ALL better rebounders and post-up players than he is. And don't even mention KT. 2- Hakeem's been playing great lately, but he alone won't be anough to withstand Wallace who's been playing great lately. 3- Stoudamire will matchup well against Steve Francis who's not having a better season than his Rookie year. 4- Blazers are coming off a big win against the surprising Dallas Mavericks and their confidence is high going into this game. 5- Steve Smith will be the answer for Mobley, Cuttino's been playing like an all-star but wont this time. 6- Shandon Anderson: 6 pts/game?!?!?! I gotta admit, as much i love Pippen, he's sucked it up bad this year. I personally think it's time for him to retire. i liked his game back in Chicago, but he looks like my grandma out there at times that i wonder why we even got him from Houston. I tell you one thing, he ain't that popular in Portland. he's just a "big name" on the team, not a big player. atleast not anymore. Anyways, that's all. try not to be so mean to me. i know how much Houston hate Portalnd because they simply have Pip. but hey, it's only a game people. Blazers WILL win the title this year! and will also win aginst the Rockets. I promised not to mention who my friend from this BBS is. He was afraid that he'd get kicked for bringing a blazer girl on board i heard how many opposing fans have been kicked out for being abusive when talking about the Rockets. Hey Blazergal, tell Paul Allen "THANK YOU" for taking Pippen (aka Quitten) and that huge salary off our hands. If the Blazers don't win it next year, your franchise is screwed with no salary cap room and zero options. By the way, if you take L.A., Utah, and San Antonio out of the picture, I think your Blazers have a shot at winning it all. Good luck. ------------------
Hey Bob out of these three teams, the only team that will posess a challenge for teh Blazers, in my opinion, is San Antonio. LA are not their dominating self this year. Davis, who was outstanding in last year's Finals gurding Shaq will team up with Wallace and Kemp to stop O'neil this year. that's what they were acquired for this year in the first place. And don't even tell me about the Jazz. they'll screw up in the playoffs liek they always do after having a stellar season. period. ------------------ Blazing to the Title!

It takes a lot guts to tear our Rockets team and compare all Blazers player.Well to start with, I got to compliment Blazers for having that much talented players, But Blazers had a long history of talented players but, if I'm not mistaken,Portland pull only one championship title in the 70's. I don't know about Pippen the whiner have that much impact with the rosters team!!And Francis always school Stoudimire and Kemp is not that effective, not like when he was with Sonics. I think the Rockets will be out to prove something after that 23 point loss in Portland. Pippen will be rattled, and will not be a factor. Francis has done pretty well against Damon in the past. Damon has only averaged about 8 points against him. Plus, if the Rockets could win on the road while McDyess exploded for 40-20, then the Rockets can win against Rasheed and Dale. Now if they leave Smith open just once I swear I'll... Of course I'm probably wrong about all this. Blazrgirl, Now you know them Blosers are in for a whooping tomorrow. The Rockets have a lot to prove from the previous contest between the two. I can't believe that you think that your team is gonna win the whole thing this year. Didn't they have the biggest choke ever in the Western conf finals last year? I really want to see if Steve Smith will be able to be on fire like he was in Portland. I bet those shot dont fall in the Compaq Center. I am glad you gave Mobley some props because he will be the one to dominate tomorrow. How is your team gonna defend the ISO? Don't worry, every team that we play asks that question. ALL better rebounders and post-up players than he is. They are better rebounders, but I think only Wallace is the better post up player. Kemp's slow and out of shape, but I guess he has a lot of power since he's so heavy. I prefer a gal with out a Blazer, but welcome. Your opinion of Mobley being out-played by the ole geezer Smith was not very well thought out. You will wish you retracted that statement after the game(you may now, while Smith is sweatin in his jammers). Some things are just inevitable - like Mobley schollin' Portlan' in the Pips. BlazerGal the lakers might not be as dominating but no offense neither is ur team. you lost to atlanta. and the lakers still beat you in ur home opener. you are behind the lakers in the standings. kemp has been a disaster u have to admit that. pippen is a non factor alot bonzi wells is streaky u still dont have a center that can stop shaq. stoudamamire still barely fits in at times and still does not play superb D. and while francis isnt playing superb his team is winning more ball games. ive been pretty critical of his play. agree on mo taylor for the most part. ditto for hakeem. ------------------ --TEX
