    NEXT 4 Games

    San Diego @ Home
    @ Jacksonville
    @ NY Jets
    Tenn @ Home

    Currently 4-3

IMO the Worse case is going 1-3
Which would leave the Texans 5-6
    with 5 games to go.
    NOT GOOD!
    2 -2 has them at 6-4
    MUCH BETTER

San D - Tough but beatable. This team reminds me of the Texans
Cannot get out of their own way sometimes.
Norv Turner vs Kubiak - Each costs their teams games
Schaub v Rivers - Good QBs
Arian versus what ever is in San D's backfield - No Brainer
Who the hell on the Texans will stop Gates?

Jags - SHOULD be a win
Jets are beatable. . but very tough. Need to put a saddle on LT
    and make Sanchez beat them.
    Titans .. . toss up.

If 10 wins gives you the playoffs

Can the Texans go 4-1 in these 5 games?
    @ Philly
    Baltimore @ home
    @ Tenn
    @ Denver
    Jags @ Home

    I honestly think so.
Baltimore is the only team there that worries me
Sure the Titans are tough but those games are toss ups.

    BY AND LARGE
the Texans MUST not give in to their near annual mid season slump

I dont think Hou will make the playoff unless they can win the division

    Wild Card teams will be:

Patriots or Jets & Steelers or Balt.

If the Texans are a good team, they should beat SD, Jack, and Tenn. No excuses.

I could understand losing at NYJ, a possible Super Bowl team on the road. But that's it.

Either the Texans are a good team, or they're not.

This is pretty much it. You're going to need 10-11 wins... and it looks bleak considering the teams you're going up against.

I'd say 3-1 and overall 7-4 record but I've lost all confidence in Kubiak.

Ditto. And I was on board with giving him this year but this previous game was just....wow.

So you run all over the Colts the first game, so what do you do in the 2nd meeting...obviously you prove you can also beat them through the air!

I'm extremely intrigued on figuring out how you guys are going to stop our passing game.

Forget the current 4-3 record. The question is this, are the Texans a playoff caliber team? No, they are not.

I'm predicting worst case 7-9, best case 9-7. No playoffs either way.

And I'm intrigued on how y'all are going to blow it. Another Kris Brown missed FG?

Seriously though, the Chargers are the worst team in the AFC in not turning the ball over and the Texans are the worst team in the NFL in forcing turnovers. Should be interesting.

We're not. But you should know the Texans offense can just explode any moment.

Call me crazy, but I see the Texans going 3-1 over that schedule. San Diego is in the same place as Houston: a lot of talent, but a lot of holes. Give the advantage to the home team. New York is just too good this year. They ate clearly better than Jacksonville and should sweep them this year. They aren't necessarily as good as Tennessee, but they match up well and should beat them at home. As of right now, I see the Texans as one of the better teams that will miss the playoffs, but 7-4 isn't bad, if they can get there. (Of course, if they were to go 1-3 through that same stretch, I wouldn't be shocked.)

Kris Brown probably won't even play, Kaeding should be back.

Not really talking ish, I'm just really wondering how the #32 ranked passing defense is going to play against the #1 ranked offense.

    My wish...

    Kubiak is killing this team...

I hope we can still play good, but is obvious that our coaches are just wasting our great core talent.

Well the Texans haven't stopped anyone this year. They pretty much just explode for points in the 3rd or 4th qtr to win the game.

Well we haven't been too hot in the 1st half this year (vs. Jacksonville being the exception) if that gives you guys any comfort.

I'll take a shootout in the 2nd half any day, our D has been pretty good this year and no one seems to have an answer against 85. Than again all you guys have to do bring the house against our punt protection... fml.

I predict we'll be 2-2 for the next 4 games, 9-7 when the season ends. We'll have a shot at making the playoffs just like last year, but the teams we need to lose end up will end up winning thus eliminating us from contention, and we shall blame the last few games instead of looking to these early losses as reasons for failure.

How different everything seems since the end of summer. I still remember how optimistic people were about the Texans, how we could go deep in the playoffs.

Now, we're left with Connor Barwin and DeMeco out, a secondary D that is worthless - not to mention their DC, Frank Bush, players whose past performances blind fans from seeing their flaws (i.e. Cushing, Pollard), and finally atrocious coaching by Kubiak.

People forget how close our wins have been, so our record could easily be 2-5.

    SD- W, barely though
    Jags- L
    Jets- L
    Titans- W

    Eagles- L
    Ravens- L
    Titans- W
    Broncos- W
    Jags- W

What do you see in the JAGS that you have us splitting with them
    but sweeping the Titans?

They look like a 6-10 team against this schedule.

    This.

Week one is so very, very, very far in the rearview mirror. :(
