    NEWSRADIO ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy **** Sonny, you just made my ****ing year! You're absolutely on the money... one of the most underrated shows of all time.

Seeing as how this show isn't aired in syndication anymore, I'm happier about this than if "Seinfeld" was released on DVD (which I can watch multiple times daily).

Oh man I'm so freakin' excited I can't put it into words!

I'm not that excited, but still it is awesome! :D

I thought Newsradio was on A&E at certain times still?

Newsradio is simply one of the best sitcoms EVER. The writing. The characters. The chemistry. The insane story lines. This show has it all.

Looks like I'll be duking it out with drapg to determine who's first in line when these DVDs come out. :)

Up until last summer, they did a daily double from 1-2pm. Then it suddenly disappeared and I have yet to find it in their lineup.

OOORRR...you can watch Seinfeld IN an episode of Newsradio! know what i'm talkin about??

i think i'm probably the biggest newsradio nut here. friends of mine would ask me for a soda and i would say as coldly and slowly as i could, "Get your own damn soda." haha, that cracked me up every time. but of course i would be given these strange looks...

Hopefully, they lost all remnants of the post Phil Hartman episodes in a fire. I think that phrase should be changed from "jumped the shark" to "Phil Hartmaned". :)

PLEASE tell me they're talking about the cartoon version of The Tick...that and Duckman are probably the two most underrated cartoons of all time...

I agree A-Train. I was not a big fan of the Jon Lovitz era at all. He was more annoying and obnoxious than funny.

Lovitz did suck, but I really enjoyed his cartoon "The Critic" - Jay Sherman ruled!

Have to agree with you as well. Duckman was great, strange, but great. The Tick was awesome. It seemed like the time when the Tick was on tv was a time when kids' shows had humor for adults as well. Eek the the Cat, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid are all examples of shows that fit into this category.

Did anybody else here watch Eek the the Cat? My favorite episodes are the ones that were movie parodies like the Apocalypse Now and In the Line of Fire. The Thunder Lizards rule!

News Radio was great, but after seeing 2 episodes of Lovitz, I had to stop watching. I'm curious, was his character the same as the guest role he played of the guy who wanted to commit suicide?

Anyways, I'll be looking for this DVD.

Preach it. I can't stand the post-Hartman Newsradio episodes. (Although I will admit that I liked the eps with Patrick Warburton as Johnny Johnson.)

I still await the day til "Martin" is finally put on DVD. I mean all these shows are whatever, but Martin is just damn hilarious. How the **** can you have "The Magic School Bus" on DVD, but Martin is nowhere to be found?! That's a travesty. :(

There were a couple of funny moments in the Lovitz era, but it wasn't anywhere near as good a show. The D.B. Cooper /Johnny Johnson three-episode arc was the high point.

But I'll be buying the DVDs (even though I have all the eps on tape).
