    LOL,

    Bro is doing this because:

    1. California lost too many people to Texas, Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, even Oregon and Washington
    Result: TAX PAYERS LEFT

    2. California residents are pissed they spent all this money on taxes and the homeless problem got worse, plus NOBODY KNOWS WHERE THE MONEY WENT

    3. California pushed TVs so hard, that they forgot about all the GAS TAX will DECREASE if the car doesn't take GAS.
    DUH

It's not the people who work at Pizza Hut who are leaving, it's the RICH PEOPLE WHO ARE LEAVING.

yet another convenient lie by one who is too dishonest to hold Daryl Morey accountable for the Jeremy Lin fiasco.

    Who’s Leaving California—and Who’s Moving In?

    • Housing has become the dominant reason cited for leaving California
    • Most losses are among adults without a college degree, lower-income adults
    • Higher-income adults are least likely to leave the state

It's incredible that California is the topic when right now Texans (some of which include my brother in law) are without power right now and have been without power for 2 days.

No, but you can’t mandate it like California when the infrastructure and costs are not there.

also the main point of this thread is affect of not getting any gas tax for California who’s facing a massive deficit in tax revenue because everyone left for Texas and Florida

I own Tesla stock I’m all for it but I wouldn’t force it on people

Registration fees for electric can hit upwards of 700 bucks. Quite the sticker shock.

The last blackouts Cali had was 2019. I read on Twitter that Cali's energy rate prices drop to negatives during the day when solar is at its peak.

People have nothing better to do than to neg because improving your own lot to make yourself feel and act better is much harder.

I understand the issue, the environment is a bigger issue to him. California can raise taxes elsewhere.

Is smog not a California issue?

I don't think its bad, electric cars are a great alternative for short daily commutes. However, the technology is not there for electric cars to replace gas cars efficiently or affordably. The majority of people can not afford to buy or maintain electric cars not to mention that electric cars do not meet the needs of the majority of daily commuters. Electric cars are also not "Green" manufacturing batteries for them alone is not good for the environment and power to charge those batteries has to come from somewhere. I used to believe electric cars would eventually take over the market far ahead in the future as their technology and efficiency grew but politicians looking to pander using anyone and anything to adopt a voter base might have ran this industry to the ground before it could really take off or atleast pro longed it greatly.
