    This not his Grandmother in Kenya who lives in a shack but his grandmother who raised him in Hawaii who he said when defending Jeremiah Wright "I can no more disown him [Reverend Wright] than I can my white grandmother — a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe."

    Obama is postponing his campaign to visit her. But before he leaves to visit his gravely ill grandmother he will continue to pop through some swing stated on the way and actually schedule one extra visit on thursday to Indianapolis to try to close the deal on that state before he postpones his campaign to visit his gravely ill Grandma

    No more than your candidate. If i had someone who I loved that was ill I would be there and I wouldn't announce it. And I wouldn't keep some important swing stated on my schedule and especially wouldn't be adding another swing state at the last minute. I pray for his Grandma.

    You wouldn't? Announcing it would help avoid thousands of angry and/or disappointed event planners and voters who arranged their schedules around your visit. Maybe you should let them know you won't be coming, and that it's not for some frivolous reason.
