Some things to note. David Lee has the right to refuse any trade. He loses bird rights if he's traded. The Rockets cannot offer him more than the MLE next season when he'll be unrestricted.

As what? Lee's solid, but he's no where near Scolandry in terms of production on court.

I'd do McGrady for Harrington/Hughes and Mobley

The Knicks want to offer extreme talent like Curry and Jeffries - why on earth would we pass?

I would seriously consider a deal of:

    Mobley, Hill, and Milicic.

    But that's it!

He's been the Knicks center ever since Curry became a bust.

Knicks have absolutely nothing of any value for the Rockets. Let TMac walk before taking any of the Knicks crap back.

    we dont want their garbage.

they wont part with any assets unless we take their garbage.

seems like a stalemate unless a 3rd team gets involved. maybe tmac for hughes and harrington... then move one of those ending contracts (with a sweetener) for a guy like kevin martin or monta ellis.

^ I would take Al Harrington over Kevin Martin since hes taller, won't mind coming off the bench, and is less injury prone.

Lee is another piece, but the Rockets have a team full of pieces - they need a main course.

Lee IMO has become overrated just like a lot of previous players under Dantoni. I agree with you, so if we can 3-way him somewhere... who knows.
