What is the most everyone is willing to pay? $20? $30? We can probably get downstairs for $25 but upstairs will be much less. Does it matter to anyone? I'm discussing it with the Rockets today so feedback is helpful. Thanks! ------------------ "You know what they say about the music business. sounds like you are talking about lower prom behind the basket. imo, looking through the backboard is the worst view in the stadium. everything in upper prom is a good view.
heypartner: I tend to agree with you on this one, but we'll let the majority decide. ------------------ "You know what they say about the music business. Here today, gone TODAY! - Chris Rock at the MTV Music Video Awards
Yeah, I'd rather be closer to the half court stripe and a little higher up than lower but behind a backboard. ------------------ Founding Father of the Refs Suck Club
I'm in for a Penny or a Pound YOU KNOW . . . maybe if we mention the SI article the Rockets will give us some tickets to show how they support the fans that support them . . . er . .. maybe not *grin* But for the record. . . . Just let me know. Rocket River ------------------
Looks like we are closing in on 50 based on the number of emails I've gotten from Save Our Rockets people who want to go. Should be one hell of a party!!! I've sent the info off to the Rockets. We'll see what they can do. ------------------ "You know what they say about the music business. Here today, gone TODAY! - Chris Rock at the MTV Music Video Awards
Cheaper is better for me. $13 sounds good. But if we pay more (I could do the $26 range too), I'd rather move towards the middle than move down. I'm not really interested in sitting behind the backboard even if it's close. ------------------
I'm in for up to 30 bucks. any more and I'm out... any less and that's OK... let's go to a game!! woo hoo rH ------------------ The Psychedelic Groove House of Rockets Basketball Love! HOOP-T, I'm unemployed and living off of my wife. You'll have to ask her for ticket money. Darkhorse, you've been to both the Summitt and the Delta Ctr. In the Delta Ctr it's imperative that you get lower level seats. Is it the same in the Summitt, since it appears that the angle is way more gradual (and you're not looking straight down from 1000')? ------------------
Yeah. Me too. ------------------ "We got f*cking smashed every day. And then when we came here to Beverly Hills, we had drugs, we had chicks, we had orgies. I thought I'd died and gone to f*cking Rome" ---Ozzy Osbourne, on the early days of Black Sabbath
What's her contact info.? ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
The season finale vs. Minnesota. Big CC.net/SOR.com outing. [This message has been edited by ChrisP (edited March 01, 2001).]
I think in this case the upper prom is a lot like the Delta Center, but not quite as big. The Summitt is a smaller building. So in my opinion, you feel a little closer to the court at the Summitt than the Delta Center. On the other hand, the Delta Center is a nicer building. And when HP says that the seat behind the basket are crap, he's not kidding. In this regard, the Delta Center is much nicer. So if it comes down to spending more money on inferior seats, it's not worth it. Much better in my opinion to go with the upper seats.... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
