Sorry if this was asked last night, but has anyone heard anything about Cato. He went out limping last night and did not return. I did not get to see the whole game, so did not hear any updates. Any news as to how he is and if it is serious?

Not serious. He wants to play tomorrow. He has healed a lot. But he is probable. He's not going to be out for like 3 weeks.

This is from the Houston Chronicle:

"Rockets backup center Kelvin Cato strained a right hip flexor in the first half and did not return.

Cato felt the pain relatively quickly in his five-minute stint in the second quarter and continued to play, even throwing down a lefthanded alley-oop slam. He went down the court defensively and back up the court one more time before his limping became especially pronounced and he was taken to the locker room.

"I'm all right," Cato said. "I'll be back here tomorrow."

Cato would not say if he would be ready to practice today or play on Sunday. But Rockets team physician Walter Lowe said Cato improved after leaving.

"I don't think it will be anything that will keep him out for a long period," Lowe said. "

wizkid, i don't think...Cato is not worthy of his 7 million a year.

not this year or in this lifetime.

Well he isn't worth it, but still, he's doing much better than last year!

We can't do anything about it....maybe restructure his contract? Can people do that? We can cut his pay. I still want to keep him.

I'm glad to hear that he will be back. Cato has shown hustle for the first time in his career and is a valuable backup for us.

If you are serious, yes. He played the last 3 minutes of the game. That was a great ALLEYOOP RIGHT BEFORE HALFTIME! I loved it!
