He is a Clippers fan. In my opinion, they kinda look the same - but I like the twist they added to it.
Please quit trying to make the world care about what might just be the most irrelevant franchise in North American professional sports.
Sell the team to me so I can move it, change the name, cut all ties with the words Clippers, Braves, anything related to the Ancien Regime. Take down any retired jerseys, erase the record books, start brand new, effectively destroying the curse.
I appreciate the OP and his enthusiasm for an underdog. I too follow the Clippers in this town and I always wish them success.
Jeez layoff the OP for once. So what if he's a fan of the Clippers? Maybe he was lived Cali and preferred the underdog team or maybe he just has a special connection to them. Just because they didn't do so hot last year or for a long time doesn't mean that they won't be relevant this year with the solid core that they have. Its the NBA dish so you can discuss whatever you want about other teams.
What the hell is the point in clowning a dedicated fan of a successful team. If anything, you should be complimenting them for not being a bandwagoner like most fans. I can't wait to see how Blake Griffin does too.
