She's lucky she had that dog put down herself.
I see it everyday, but **** people that don't have their dogs on a leash. Its just so irresponsible. **** the people that just let them out unsupervised even more. That being said, this doesn't really bring cats up in my eyes too much. A dog person foreva' I shall remain.
My cat used to attack dogs that wondered onto my property so there is a good chance it had nothing to do with the kid but cool story anyway.
I walk my dog off the leash all the time. He needs time to act like an animal (i.e. rolling in some mud and chasing some lizards/birds). My dog has never bitten or snapped at a human. Not even vets who are holding him down and giving him a shot(a painful experience for the dog). Don't let .1% of people who irresponsibly keep their violent dog off leash tarnish the reputation of the rest of us.
Until a cat can do this, I will always be pro dog!!! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/R8XAlSp838Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

you should only own a cat if you're going to post selfies online or a super villain. (trolling cat owners) that was very heroic of the cat. I could never walk my dog without a leash yet I see so many dogs just chilling outside. damn chihuahas are feisty.
Wow! That cat is a stud. Just remarkable the speed at which it recognized the situation and sprung into action. Great stuff.
Did more in 4 seconds than Ed Reed did all year. Sign him up. Swearinger needs to develop another year anyways.
It's easy to forget that cats are natural predators, built to hunt and kill. They're smaller than their jungle cousins, but have a lot of the same skills and talents. And they can be VERY loyal and protective, if raised correctly.
