Meet our newest child, a six month old schipperke named Breeze. I've never had any knowledge of schipperkes, but everything I've read says they are smart, friendly, well behaved dogs. Anyone owned a schipperke before?
Is this a real friend, or a faked one? Oh wait, wrong thread..... Define "spaz". This particular dog was raised from a baby by a dog trainer. She already obeys all the standard commands (sit, stay, lie, heel...). She's been through obedience school and in July will begin training as a therapy dog so that she can go with my wife to our local nursing home to comfort the residents.
About 15 pounds. They're not big, but they have a big mentality. They're called "a big dog in a small dog's body". Here's a pic of a full grown one:
