ok ok.... I am newbie in this forum so please bare with me, and I sure I'll probably subjected to the much hazing, especially after I say what I have to say about the "Franchise".

I think you guy should relax. Yes, SF has been a rocket for 5 years and is just now making it into the playoff. But You have to think of it as a maturation process. The first couple of year he had no real nuclear around him to be playoff bound in a tough Western Conference. Last year SF got to play with Yao, who was new and not settled in his own way, and would have made the playoffs if it wasnt for Rudy, the HEAD couch and the head is one of the most important part of a basketball team, was out. So now two year remove from the time Yao joins Steve and the has improve over that period. SF number may have dip but the team is playing better. Isn't that what is important? The guy is Jordan nor will he ever be. He sure is being paid the big bucks, but **** know the rockets history of payroll, I rather give all this money to SF when watch guys like Matt Malony sitting pretty on wasted money. Give the guy a year or to really prove something. The next Generation is a the microwave generation, they want results now. Iam sure all of us sitting on our asses can do any better then SF. All thing take time, and I willing to bet the farm that if you build around SF and Yao, you will see Championship day soon. Let Yao and SF pay their dues. These only payed 2 years together and took the 4- Hall of Famers to the brink. Well I think I've chimed in for the first time here. I am out.

Yes, welcome aboard. And following my fellow CC.net poster's welcome and advice.

I would like to say, there are a lot of negative threads, yes and some postive ones. But, don't confuse the real positive ones, from the blindly positive ones. Aswell, do not confuse the real negative ones, from the factual and reasonable ones.

Yep, the real negative ones are those preventing people from seeing the truth, even when the truth is ugly - for denial of truth is negativity at its best.

lol... honestly i've always been a fan of SF3, but I am not blind to his screw ups... I am 24 myself I know I am a good person and Iam great at what I do, but I know screwing is only being human. Being human does not make screwing up right, it just makes it more understandable.

I'll be sure to weave through the fake, real, postive, negative, and most importantly "stupid comments".

I dont take too kindly to bashing and gangbanging.... I don't think anyone should.... unless you are just that weird.... other wise... BRING IT!!! I you disagree with me on anything thats fine, I can totally respect that. I am alway up for argue as long as its does in a mature fashion... I see no point in getting so pissed ff and resorting to name called or the infamous "YOU'RE GHEY".

Since trading is such a big tread thing on any board I'll weight myself...

-trade Cato and a future conditional draft (and/or Piak... not sure of his value at all) for AL Harrington... Cato makes for most then decent center in the weak east, and JO gets to place PF full time.

-make a deal with the Bobcat's to take Spoon off our hands

-Use that exemption above and TE in pursuit of a usefull PF like Brand, Wallace, or whom ever of that level.

    -Sign Brent Barry at MLE

    1- Steve/ Brent
    2-JJ/ Cat
    3- ALH/ Boki
    4- Sheed or Brand/ MO
5- Yao /most any scrub will due

It might be unrealistoc, but it a hell of alot better then thinking we will have Yao Brand Lewis T-Mac Nash by next year.... more like 10 years from now.

    your ghey

Just kidding. :D Welcome to the board, Phizz! I'm willing to give Stevie another year, but I'm pessimistic now that Steve and Yao can work out longterm. I think the only way it works is if we entirely remake our core with smart complementary players that can pass, defend, shoot and keep turnovers down. Turnovers is a team problem with Steve the worst culprit. Either he has to go or at least one of Cat and JJ goes.

arrrghhh!!! I agree with you there.... I dont totally think Steve is a the worst curpit... the Team average about what 17- 20 a game and Steve accounts for about a quater of all that... but being a point guard you are more vulneriable to turnovers... don't get me wrong, Steve does turn it over too much, but the problem is more a team problem then Steve's. I think the only way to keep Cat and SF3 and become a dangerous team is by adding a point foward... a small forward who you can distribute... hrmmmms lets trade for Lebron...NO, like he or anyone like him is availible to the Rox.... But you must admit, especially in the playoff Steve had low turnovers games... Jim drive me crazy most of all... he makes alotta bad passes OH MY GOD someone show him where the freaking out of bounds line is, this is not the play ground where the fence, the house, and the car is out of bounds. theres a freaking big ass line that is a totally different color. he keeps stepping on it b4 he shoots his 3s..... Buttomline ST3 and Yao has a good crew behind them, but they honestly need a much better one.... with teams like Dallas, LA, SA, Minny, and the King, who are all load with 3+ star players, Yao and ST3 cant do it alone... unless they were in the East....I dont mind lossing JJ or Cat, only if its cuz some kind of return of a starting forward...
