Need help figuring out a fun new years destination for this year. Don't want to do NYC (way too expensive), but I don't want anything cheesy either. The person I'd be traveling with is from Cali, so I'd like something closer to the west coast (but not a must). Any help would be appreciated! P.S. - I'm leaning towards a ski resort in Colorado... so if anybody has a recommendation for that as well.
I would love to go there.. but I'm pretty much stuck in the continental US considering I have to be back at work on the 3rd
I went to Breckenridge last February and really enjoyed it. Of course I was told I happened to be there the one good weekend where they had sunny weather, fresh snow and not a lot of wind.
I'm never ever steppin foot in Brazil. One of my friends and her coworkers got robbed right in front of a restaurant where everyone was watching and no one did a damn thing.
Maybe houston, doubt it though. I'll be in canada from the 12th-19th snowboarding at silverstar if they get some damn snow.
I went to Vegas last year for NYE. I imagine it would have been a lot of fun if I wouldn't of had the flu. I'm going back next week to make up for it.
