This looks pretty sweet. I have been using Swype for two years, and absolutely cannot go back to a regular touch-style keyboard, letter by letter. However, I do still find myself having to go back and re-do words because it often seems to use the wrong word on a similar trace path. But it looks like they may have addressed that with this latest version. Has anyone tried the beta yet? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4H-Ci8jEYXc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
No, but I'll give it a shot. I loved Swype, but the error correction was not so great for me. I've yet to find a keyboard with every feature I want. I currently use Swiftkey and mostly like it, but the voice typing is not so great. Wish I could make the stock Android voice typing override it.
I've been on Swype for 2 years on-and-off. It's okay. I haven't fell in love with anything on Android. Nothing beats the Blackberry keypad. Nothing.
Swype is awesome and it seems like my phone updated a couple of months ago to make it much better. I absolutely HATE my Blackberry (it's a work phone). But now I use voice input for texting and it totally blows away swyping.
