New Smaller XBOX 360 Coming

I think this was posted in the E3 thread, but, nonetheless, is a nicer looking Xbox.

 

Give a **** what size it is, I want it to stop giving me the RROD!!!!!

 

I was about to say...wonder if they fixed that issue.

Had a teen come into our store today, to buy thermal paste and small screw drivers. I knew exactly what he was doing.

 

Yes they have. The new xboxs made after june 2009 shouldn't get the RROD.

No built in wi-fi was always a deal breaker for me and the Xbox 360. This plus the larger hard drive has me sold. Any info on the the price?

hmm. Had no idea. Don't own an xbox....nor do I play my console very much.

 

On the back of your Xbox where your serial is located, it says the manufacturing date.

 

Paging me for what? I already own one from 2008, black elite version. I never play it, I guess that's why it hasn't RROD on me yet, rofl.

 

that thing looks horrible, designing hardware is definitely not Microsoft's strength.

 

Maybe they'll finally make some games for the 360 that aren't shooters.

 

Well good news for you then. Here is the whole ad that was leaked for the new 360. Wifi and Kinect seem to be included in this version. I don't think we know a price point yet.

Wonder what the price tag will be? $250 or what?

If it's $250 (or less), I may pick one up just for the hard drive space and the better cooling system. I'm tired of my existing one breaking even with minimal use.

I'm assuming transferring data between 360 hard drives ain't that difficult?

Plus, until they bite the bullet and put a Blu-Ray in it, its shelf-life is going to be too short.

 

I seriously doubt there will ever be an Xbox360 with a BluRay player in it. They're already touting 1080p streamed movies on their new Zune Movie Player (XBL).

 

Reminds me of those Dell slim model business desktops.
