FYI, I really HATE eBay. All you seem to get on there is scam bids. It's so frustrating. So, no better place to post than the place you trust. If you have any questions, please let me know. If you know of anyone needing a laptop, this is a great deal. And certainly notice that it is OBO (or best offer).

    Thanks!

I understand you may want more , but I am a college student. I attend Uni. of Houston . I really really need a laptop, but I do not have the money. My best offer is $225. If your willing to sell it to me , may God bless your heart. If not , I completely understand.

Wish I could, but I really need the money. I bought this, and then couldn't return it, even though I had never opened it. Talk about crappy. :(

Hey if you need a cheap laptop go to Fry's, I got this one 1.6ghz dual core, 2 gb ram, 120 gb hard drive for like $500. They always have 1 on sale so you can check.

I probably have a copy of Windows XP Pro that I could give you to go along with it. I got a couple extra copies from the UT campus store because they screwed up a warranty I had through them. Wasn't worth the trade, but it may finally work out if you want to do that. It would be an unused, unregistered copy. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Yup, found it! Unopened, unregstered copy! FYI, the disc reads "NOT FOR RETAIL OR OEM DISTRIBUTION".

Why couldn't you return it? I built a 14.1 laptop from Dell with slightly better specs for $750 yesterday -___-

Man, they must have had some REALLY sweet deals yesterday, because I just tried to price one, and I gave up after $1100--I wasn't even at the spec I have listed above, much less better.

The HP is more because it is an enterprise level laptop. They are just more expensive and better made than consumer level laptops. It would be a workhorse if you wanted to spend extra for it despite having slightly lower specs on paper.

    Free bump for you.

Don't want to risk losing e-rep points, here's the Dell I ordered for my friend a few days ago. This is the Vostro 1400 and you can still get the same deal until April 2nd. $1,250 - $500 instant rebate.

I should probably hold on to it for now in case it helps me sell the laptop. I'll let you know, though, once I sell the laptop.

If your serious about selling it, isn't it obvious you're gonna have to come down to at least $700 since Dell is undercutting the price so bad?

Well, I'm hoping their deals go away soon. I don't want to lose that much money on the laptop. :( I wish I had never gotten myself in this situation.
