You had to be registered in the last one, so it's too late to register. Alot of people didn't pick up their tickets and not everyone bought 4 tickets. I tried to get a ball park figure of the amount left from the director of box offices, but she didn't know. So good lucks guys, maybe us losers will atually win this time.
When are they supposed to notify us? Is this the Thursday second-chance drawing, or something different?
So they are doing a Re-DRAWING this Thurs for 2nd chance winner for the WS TICKETS for the people that didnt purchase 4 tickets or left overs.
I had a tad of trouble getting in the game yesterday. Then the resoltion office started giving me a hassle....to keep things short, i asked for his bose's phone # and call her (Brooke) and she told me about the new raffle today at 5. Exactly the time you had to buy you're tickets from the 1st raffle. She's also gonna give me 4 complimentary tickets for next season for the trouble i had t go through. Very friendly lady. Yes...I tried getting WS tickets instead, even offered to pay for them but they have to see how many tickets are left after the raffle. She said MLB is in control of them, so a certain amount goes to both teams, and more tickets go to scalper agencies, then you have Wstern Union as well. So i don't know how many people will win. I think we will hear the winners tommorow from what i understood.
FINGERS CROSSED!!! PLEASE BABY JESUS, LET ME BE A WINNER!!! I had to type louder just in case he is busy.
Email sent last week: Thank you for registering for a chance to purchase tickets to potential Astros World Series games at Minute Maid Park. Unfortunately your entry was not selected for the online World Series sale. If single tickets remain, or any tickets go unclaimed, you will be automatically entered into the 2nd chance World Series ticket opportunity. If you are a 2nd chance winner, you will receive an e-mail on Thursday, Oct. 20 informing you of what you need to do. As a fan, your loyalty to the Astros is unparalleled. Thank you for registering for the online World Series ticket opportunity.
I registered, even though I am living in Tucson now. If I got a shot at tickets, I would find a way to attend a game with my dad. We might both be dead the next time the Astros ever make it to the World Series again.
