Just heard the news on TV. Marcus Williams(Arizona not the PG from UConn) 6'7 205lb SG/SF He is listed 9th on draftexpress of 2007 draft and 12th on nbadraft of 2007. He could be the ideal choice for Rockets if Roy/Gay is not available.

Can't say I followed Arizona at all. From the sounds of it, he is probably more of a mid to late teens pick than top 10, though. The school of thought, if there is one, that would have the Rockets trading down (say to New Orleans, for #13 and 17), or to Chicago (for #15 and a number 1 next year, or something like that - since they already have a top 3'ish pick from NY and there maybe someone else specifically they are targeting), or to whomever.... May make someone like Williams a possibility. My guess, though, is unless they are in a position to take someone with an enormity of undeveloped or under-utilized potential (i.e. - if they get a top 3 pick and want to take Aldrige, the Italian guy, Tyrus Thomas, etc.), they will go for someone with more experience at thier spot. Rodney Carney, Brandon Roy, Reddick or Shelden Williams, etc.
Agree with it. We should really try to get him if we cant get Roy/Gay at 8th spot. It's possible to get the 15th pick from Hornets. Swift+32nd pick for JR Smith +15th pick Pick Shelden Williams at 8th spot. Resign Bogans/Hayes. Split MLE with V-Span and Jumaine Jones or Rasual Butler. He changed his mind, he isn't coming out. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2006/news/story?id=2420374
